Good old fashioned southern style comfort food. You can probably hear your arteries harden with some of the dishes, but fried... food and biscuits or cornbread smothered in butter are so good! I know they say that you shouldn?t reach a place based on a singular visit but that?s all I?ve had this point. I ordered a meal... through their app for curbside to go. When I arrived I phoned in as requested. I was then told that I needed to come inside toget my food. I had to wait for an open register in order for the cashier to ring in my mail. It was at this point, where I wastold that my meal had been given away to the wrong person. I was asked to wait while they remade the order. After additional 15minutes my order was finally brought out. The portion was OK, the temperature was OK, the meal was OK. I was expecting the wholetransaction to be faster and for me to be, in and out. So the cashiersoooj attention to detail cost me an additional amount oftime. Read more

First time eating at any cracker barrel in a long time, over all it was a pretty good experience. My boyfriend and I both... ordered the fish fry, the fish was light and good tasting, but coating could use some flavor. This particular cracker barrel isright next to the freeway behind hotels, so it stays very busy, service may be slow because of this, if you want fast service goelsewhere. The waitress looked very young, and nervous, my boyfriend and I were both supposed to get cornbread and biscuits, wegot 2 cornbread muffins and 1 biscuit period, we had to ask another waitress to fill my drink because my glass sat empty forsome time and our waitress disappeared. Cracker Barrel is always a treat, and a family tradition when we travel. I have never had a bad meal there and this visit was... no exception. The food was delicious and the staff was professional, efficient, and friendly. Also, in the "Things I didn'tknow I needed" category there was a "Turtle in a Truck" glitter globe in the store. I'm pretty sure you won't find such a thinganywhere else! Always a good time, and I will be going back soon. Read more
