Disappointed!!! Drove 1 hr to Mebane NC to meet with friends -- Friendly staff, small portions, (did not need a container)... walked away not feeling like having had a complete meal. Probably not returning! Read more
The waitress are nice but the food for the most part is very bland. I never tasted chicken tenders that had no kind of... seasoning. I had fried okra, chicken pie, and green beans. The fried okra and chicken pie was delicious. My friend had thespaghetti and she didn't like it or the potato salad. My kids like the French fries and grilled cheese sandwich. The sweet teawas missing sugar but I am from GA. The peach cobbler was not good. This opinion is coming from 3 people. Clean restaurant andbathroom. Read more
I want to love them so badly but our food was just horrible. We?ve been in the past and it?s been okay but nothing to write home... about. This time I got the deluxe dinner salad and my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger. My salad was full of brown andsoggy lettuce. It was gross. They were nice enough to refund me but idk who would?ve been okay serving that. My husband?s burgercame with no toppings at all. Just the patty, bacon, and cheese. Such a neat diner - extremely clean and full of character. A well trained staff who are very courteous and welcoming. The prices... are average and the food quite tasty (loved the spaghetti- meatloaf delicious as well). We arrived when it first opened and itwas packed with customers when we left. FABULOUS FOOD!!! I ordered a cheeseburger for lunch and took a chicken plate to go for dinner. The burger was one of the best,... all fresh ingredients. The chicken was juicy and tender. I could bathe in the marinade. The peach cobbler was made with love.The entire staff is friendly and attentive. I will drive out of my way to return here many times. Read more
Blue Ribbon Diner is definitely a ?Ribbon Winning? Restaurant! ???? The Staff should win an award themselves!! They are so... courteous and attentive!! I always get some type of chicken, the Apple Jack Chicken just can?t be beat! This is our favoriteplace to take out of town friends. You will never go wrong ordering Cheese Curds and/or Fried Pickles!! Always save room for amilkshake, believe me you will be wishing you did when you see one!! Take my word for it and order a Chocolate Oreo Milkshake,it?s Delicious ????! If you have to wait for a table it?s probably because I?m here with my friends. Don?t get impatient, it?sworth the wait.
