This place is not clean. The tables were not wiped, the floors were dirty, the washroom was filthy. Food tasted okay and seemed... fresh although my burger was burnt black on the bottom. At one point the cook walked through the restaurant with a filthy apronthat had never been washed. Lost my appetite! Price is reasonable. We would not return. Read more
I?m working on a site in this town, this is my favourite spot for eating out. I?ve become almost a local in that place. Some of... the best food I?ve ever had, anything on the menu is a good choice. The wings and burgers are my favourite. The staff is veryfriendly and fast. Even if you stop in for a beer it?s a good time, the locals you will meet inside the red door are amazing andfull of stories. I?ve made a lot of friends and memories at the red door. Asked for a poutine and paid $13 for a few fries swimming it watered down gravy. This was suposed to be during a poutine... festival, so you'd think they would have tried to make something edible. Also others at our table got some pulled pork poutineand they also said they weren't impressed at all. No one finished their food. Read more

We were in Meaford and decided to have lunch at Red Door which we just found online. We tried the Meaford hamburger and chicken... wings. The homemade beef patty is freshly prepared everyday. It is flame broiled and topped with sauteed mushroom and onion,smoked cheddar, grainy mustard mayo, housemade tomato jam in brioche bun . To our delight the hamburger was juicy, tender, sotasteful and delicious. The flavour is amazing - really fresh, seasoned well and done just right. The chicken wings in honeygarlic sauce was also good and the honey was not overly sweet. Laura was the only server but managed to provide excellentcustomer service. She got the orders right and we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks. She managed to still checkwith customers to make sure that they have everything they need. She is so warm and friendly and serve with a smile. We allenjoyed the food and the great service and would certainly come back here if we are in the area. Read more
We came to The Red Door for the steak deal on Fridays and almost got two 8oz steaks, but our waiter Nate strongly recommended... the 12oz butchered in-house. He was right, they were fantastic steaks, big on size and big on flavour, and cooked perfectly. Theveggies were also delicious, highly recommend coming here if you're on the hunt for a top notch steak! Read more
