I asked a gentleman to change his gloves before making my food, as he'd just been using the POS system. He was snippy with me... the whole time and then complained to my girlfriend about me when I left the store to start the car. Come on. You know you'resupposed to change gloves, it wasn't even busy. I ordered my food online from the Meaford store tonight and finally get home to eat and both were made wrong can't eat them... because of what's on them. Found pickels in the wife's food that she DIDN'T ORDER and Black Olives in mine That I DIDN'T ORDER.Oh and the best part NO Manger till Monday. I didn't have a very good visit at the Meaford Subway when I went in the girl behind the counter was alone and she was just... finishing up with a customer. I wanted 3 subs and her attitude was not very good towards me when she would ask me questionsabout how I wanted my subs I could tell in her voice she didn't want to do them. It was almost like she was trying to tell me inher voice and body language was were the only sub place in town so what are you going to do about it. Well I have no problemgoing elsewhere there are other sub places in Owen Sound Collingwood even Stayner. So maybe this is something these peopleshould think about when it comes to working in the restraunt business. Your not the only one. Read more
It has recently come to my attention that an employee here has been receiving both in person and online harassment (public... shaming on Facebook) due to the fact that she cannot wear a mask (she has a medical condition). Not all of us have the means andprivilege to stay at home - shame on everyone who is giving her a hard time. I have been coming here throughout Covid and I havenever once felt unsafe. The employees here are some of the best in Meaford, and I will not see this store's (or this employee's)reputation trashed. Read more
