Terrible place! We booked for two days 5 months in advance, when we arrived there the person in charge told us he only have a... room for one night. Then he said we can't stay there because we were four people. We booked for four people! We got there at9:00PM to find out we do not have a room to stay for the weekend. Very bad experience and the lady was very rude instead ofbeing sorry of their mistake. We will never book that place again and we'll never send anyone there. Please avoid booking at theMeaford Inn! Very relaxed and cozy atmosphere with great food and super service. The burgers are a must-try, especially the Meadors burger.... Good for take out or dine in and can get quite busy at times. Read more
Rooms are very clean and staff was quite helpful. However when your neighbors flushes you hear it, also beds are on the firm... side which isn't my preference. That being said we would absolutely go back again Read more
We were here for just one night and I would say it's a good place to stay in for a night or two if passing through they do have... a restaurant but we have not been inside so I do not know how it is, there is no microwave and I noticed that the knobs for thewater are backwards not a big deal, the owners running the place seem really nice ppl and the parking spaces is a bit tight topark if you have a big car, I do recommend this location. I have rated the location very highly, so I will give my criteria for that. For anyone not familiar with this area and... surrounding areas, it's very tough to find motels in the this price range that are clean. I have stayed in some pretty grossplaces that on top of not being clean, had rude staff to match. While the outside of the building is worn and it's an olderbuilding, the rooms are very clean. The owner is really nice. The location is fantastic, and a huge selling point. Therestaurant attached to the motel was great as well. This is listed as a one to 2 star motel when you look it up, which meansyou need realistic expectations. The rooms have the basics, and as mentioned are clean. If you are staying in this area, it'slikely to check out all the sights and the room is a spot to crash for the night. If you plan on spending a lot of time sittinginside a motel room with family, you would likely be better off with a cottage rental or something. I feel the place definitelymeets it's star rating though, and it's location likely helps it exceed that. As a solo traveller who hikes in the area andchecks out sights, it met my needs. Read more
We stayed in Meaford for the weekend and went up to the Blue Mountains, the Meaford Inn was close to everything we wanted to do... for the weekend and a great price compared to other hotels around the area, management was very friendly and welcoming, in mybooking I asked for a 1st floor accommodation which they provided ! The room was clean and spacious. Wifi was a great speed.Could hear live music from our room which was nice to enjoy! Read more

We recently spent 1 night while we were on a Fall colour tour. First trip since before COVID hit. The check in was a bit... strange. No office / reception. You ring a bell and they come with a portable debit / credit machine and take you to yourroom. Our room was clean, with microwave, fridge (not plugged in). We found this out when we noticed it was not getting coldwhen we turned the setting to colder. Once we plugged it in, worked great. The beds were softer than we are used to, butcomfortable. The pillows were terrible. Way too soft. Felt like I was sinking right down to the mattress. I was surprisedthat there was no fan in the bathroom and that we could not open the window in the bathroom. One other surprise, that I havenever found at any other motel or hotel that we have stayed at. They did not provide any ice. If you wanted ice, you had tobuy it at the restaurant or gas station.
