Firehouse has been a place that my family has been going for years and has always held such a special place in our hearts as my... grandfather worked there when it was a functional fire station. Visited on a Saturday afternoon with an entire 12U hockey team and families. The staff couldn't have been more patient and... accommodating. They opened the upstairs room for us and never once mentioned being short-handed even though it seemed like ourlarge group required the attention of most of their staff. Food was well prepared and presented and the chef came out to checkif we were enjoying the meal and the experience. Very happy we visited here instead of one of the nearby chain restaurants. Great food! Stopped here on a recent trip. The place was crowded, but the service was great. We sat outside, it was a beautiful... day. I had a burger and my wife had the fish sandwich. Both were great.. We shared a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese andenjoyed that as well. Saw some other food go by our table as we sat there, and it looks like we need to go back and try thewings and pulled pork! They have good coffee too! Read more
Up from Cleveland dropping the son off for his freshman year at Allegheny College. Someone suggested the Firehouse Tap & Grille... so we stopped in for dinner before the ride home. Ordered the pulled pork on top of Mac & Cheese and it was enough for twopeople to get full on ? delicious. Read more
Stopped for lunch. The brisket sandwich was tasty, but I'd have expected more than one and a half slices of brisket on it. Wife... had a chicken wrap and she loved it. She took half home and she NEVER finishes her take homes, but she polished it off fordinner that day... to my disappointment. We went there on a recommendation from a reliable source, so, yes, I'd give themanother chance. Read more
