Knackies was REALLY there for our family in our time of need. Our family needed a place to gather together after we said our... final goodbyes to my wonderful Great Aunt. All of us were from out of town, many from out of state, and my Cousin was having avery difficult time arranging all of this from Illinois-especially because of COVID. My Aunt?s church was not yet allowingdinners to take place in their building (as would generally be the tradition of our family) due to COVID and we were desperateto find SOMEPLACE we could gather together. Knackies absolutely came to our rescue!!!! They opened their doors to us, at a timewhen they were normally closed, and allowed us to use their entire space. They provided a wonderful meal for us - with pork,beef, and chicken - and their BBQ sauces are delightful! We even had three kinds of cobbler for dessert. Knackies provided uswith such a welcoming atmosphere, a lovely meal served with kindness, and gave us the gift of togetherness. Their efforts willnot be forgotten!! Read more

Excellent...but needs to cook longer, so the brisket would melt in your mouth...delicious but, you have to chew it up real... good...there dessert are delicious, friendly and polite staff. You have to see the inside of this building...western themed,stuffed turkey and in what could be a separate room, for working meetings has a Buffalo head on the wall...on a scale of 1-5...41/2!!! Their food is fantastic! Homestyle, comfort food. They catered events for us twice now and they've great. First time was bbq,... the second time fried chicken. Very excited to try out more of their menu. Read more
I?m quite positive that this shouldn?t be called BBQ, but yet that?s how they?ve branded themselves somehow. I never saw any... sort of smoker or grill out back nor did I smell anything that remotely tasted like BBQ. I was suspicious from the start, I gotthe salad bar with a side of turkey. The salad bar was pretty flipping weak, but edible. The big surprise was the steamed plateof turkey they brought me. I could seriously tell it was thrown into a microwave or it came from a roaster filled with bubblingslop water. It was completely devoid of anything resembling BBQ. Everyone one at the table was extremely disappointed and waswaiting for someone to tell us it was big joke. That didn?t happen though. It was very clean and everyone was nice, I must saythat, but seriously, avoid. It?s just bizarre, just like they?re BBQ sauce too. Strange. Even the brisket that my buddy ordered,strange looking and tasting. It must be cooked in an oven for a very long time. Read more
First time we went there, thought it was pretty cool, good location. We ordered our food and I noticed mine was tasting a little... weird. Kept eating, tasted horrible. We called one of the staff over, told him, and so he brought it back to the kitchen. Hecame back and told us that the meat was expired. We asked to speak to the manager and we got no apology, no compensation. Spentthat whole weekend sick with my head in a toilet! Downright terrible. Save your business for elsewhere. Read more
