We frequent this place for to go orders and are so glad it isn't far down the road. We always have a pretty good experience but... tonight they left off the chicken on my meal and didn't give us any tortillas. I usually just make due when something goes wrongat a restaurant but this time we called and explained and they made it right with us and gave us a huge plate of cheesy chickento come back and pick up for our order. Very nice find in McMinnville! Many authentic and Americanized Mexican food options to choose from Their aguas jamaica... (hibiscus), horchata (cinnamon rice milk) and pina (pineapple) come with free refills! - we tried the Hibiscus and Pineapple,both very refreshing. We started with the guacamole casero (house guacamole - it's made to order, the avocados in dish arethick chunks, we added jalapeños) it was also very fresh and filling! We ordered the 12 plate taco special (disappointed theyran out of al pastor meat) it came with chicken (the kids loved it), asada (steak) & chorizo (mild sausage), it is served withthe limes galore, sliced red radishes, 2 house spicy sauces, grilled nopales (cactus) & grilled whole onions with green shoots(these are a delicacy and not commonly found at restaurants and a definite MUST TRY) We overzealously ordered another plate aswell - the quesobirria (cheese & shredded lamb crispy tacos that are served with a tasty consume to dip the tacos in) Our ordertook a bit long to arrive but the kitchen was in the midst of preparing a very large catering order to go when we arrived, allin all not a long time for the wait considering. The service was fantastic and attentive, waitress was proficient in bothEnglish and Spanish. Very disappointed with delivery order. Paid $6.99 for 1/4 cup of cheese dip that tastes like powdered cheese today, asked for... double rice no beans in our 2 chimichanga meals, got single serving of rice in both. We also asked for chips & salsa for 4people, we got 3 bags of chips and 1/4 cup of salsa. We ordered 2 taco salads along with the 2 chimichanga meals. Should haveknown a restaurant in McMinnville could not be consistent. This poor town. We will not be patronizing this place again. I'mtired of getting ripped off. Save your money. Read more
