Alexander Schuyler should be restaurant GM Shannon was my waitress and was great but Alexander ran the whole floor including my... table. He was on top of everyone's request and keep all tables cleaned and moving. He didn't miss a beat. He even sat us at ourtable he really seemed to understand the importance of keeping the business running smoothly. Before that we had dirty cups Heknows how to host and run for customers needs. My Corvette group, TN Corvette Cruiserz, stopped here last weekend and had lunch while on our cruise to Fall Creek Falls. We... stopped here last year on one of our cruises, and most everyone was thoroughly impressed by this restaurant; we had a couple ofyankees with us, and they can?t be pleased. They don?t know what good sweet tea is! Lol!! Same consensus by the group again thisyear! The food was excellent, the service was fantastic! Carlie was a great waitress, she really took care of the group!! Wecouldn?t have asked for a better waitress to take care of us!! She was very attentive to our needs, without being toointrusive!!! A friend and I ate here last night. I had been to several Gondola restaurants in the area before. So the meal started normal.... The waitress introduced herself. My friend asked her what kind of rice they serve. She said she didn't know, that she would haveto ask. But instead of going and asking she just stood there. Then I asked her what vegetables come in their sauteed vegetables.She responded with, "they're vegetables." She had NO menu knowledge whatsoever and no intention of finding out the informationwe had requested. Everytime we asked a question she'd respond with "I think." My friend at one point even asked her to verifyand she just stood there. Moving on to the food. I ordered a cheeseburger. It didn't come with a side which was very odd to mebut the cheeseburger had good flavor and it was pretty good. My friend ordered chicken with bacon and cheese and it too was verygood. It was tender and juicy. Moving on to dessert, I'd ordered cheesecake. When it arrived you could tell it was completelyoverdone. It was so hard I could smack it with a fork and it stayed in tact. It was the driest cheesecake I have every tasted.Just didn't seem like anyone knew what was going on. Food was good but I probably will stick with the Crossville location. Read more

Since 3.5 isn?t an option I would lean towards a 4 star rating. Solid food. Not the best but better than a lot of food in the... area. It?s ?above average?. We got cheese pizza, eggplant parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo and a cannoli. Pizza was ok. Maybe theleast favorite of the dishes we got. Crust was good, cheese was decent. Fettuccine was the best thing we got. Nice ratio ofvegetables. The eggplant was the weird one of the bunch. We are from philly and I grew up eating home cooked Italian meals andI have never seen eggplant parmigiana on a hamburger bun. I was actually kinda shocked when I saw it lol. It wasn?t bad butmentally I couldn?t get over it not being on a hoagie roll. Also the sauce and cheese ratio was kinda weak. More sauce andcheese would of went along way. But the eggplant it?s self was good. Came with a pickle which was also strange for eggplant parmbut also I like pickles so we weren?t mad about it. Overall My wife and I agreed that the food was good enough for us to try itagain. Lots of signs up about the award winning cheesecake so I will return to atleast try that! Read more
I?m a little old fashioned when it comes to food. When it comes to Italian, spaghetti and pizza is about all I have had. My... wife, my sister-in-law and I went in this restaurant and asked a young man named John what was good, and he told us what heliked himself. The three different meals we ordered were simply the best. Now I?m a big fan of Gondolas Restaurant! The peoplethat work there, and the owner, welcomed us in with a ?you?re at home?atmosphere.
