Flew in to Portland from Tampa FL. Friends said if you go by McMinnville you have to get barbecue from this place. Drove by... Dropped In, sat there and watched their staff prepare a monster order that slammed them. But they had Smiles on their faces andwas getting it done. I placed my order and they said you may have to wait a few minutes and I was fine with that. The food wasoutstanding and worth the wait. I totally recommend this place and I'll definitely be back when I pass back through. Staff wasawesome even though they were a bit stressed they persevered. Thx for some damn good Q! Read more
OMG, so good. Lots of food and great flavor. Wait staff was wonderful
The staff are so awesome and welcoming but the jalapeño popper brisket sandwich could have been better.
We got the Mofo Brisket sandwich and chicken quarter. The server was easy to talk to, and the food was tasty! Prices were good,... I'll be coming back to try out the rest of their menu. Read more

Heard great things about this place. They have several accolades for BBQ. There was a line out the door when we got there. Had... to use my phone to look up a menu as there was none to be had, nor on a wall anywhere. They did have a special that was on thewall. A meltdown sandwich, which is a grilled cheese on sourdough bread with brisket and jalapeno poppers cream cheese spreadwith chips and a pickle. We also got a couple of poppers wrapped in bacon. Poppers were only half pepper, and we're very squishyand cold. The sandwich was ok I guess, just wish it had more than .50 worth of "brisket" on it. Definitely not worth 14 dollarsplus 2 for a popper. Not sure if it was an off day; or if they're just ridding off their reputation. Had to go get lunch afterwe left because I was still hungry. In short... Overpriced, underwhelmed. Update. No big surprise that the owner had a snottyresponse to the review. I only speak what I see, taste, hear, and what else may be pertaining to the visit. I'm professionallytrained and know good food when I taste it. I was as generous as I could be with the product provided. If you don't care for myreview; perhaps try harder. Next time I'll just give the food bank my whole food total instead of coming back. And people whomlove what they do don't burn out. Read more
