This was the perfect hotel for a family getaway!! The artwork and random decorations make for a fun adventure. Make sure you get... a passport and explore the place to get your stamps. Staff, as with every Mc Menamins, was absolutely lovely. Read more
Roof top bar is awesome. I wish they had doors closed because this particular day was close to 100 and the doors were open with... an AC unit running. Um... why? Lol! Prices for food have gone up and are too much for portion size and quality. Other than thatit is an awesome place to hang with family or friends. The cellar bar is excellent! Cool old place with lots of character. I didn?t want to use a shared bathroom/ shower, but it wasn?t what I thought it was. The... shared restrooms were actually very nice and private, just not attached to your room. I?m sure we?re going to be going back alot. Read more
The atmosphere is what you go for more than anything. Menu options aren't great and I've never and I mean never had good service... at a McMenamins. So if you go into it knowing that you'll be fine. The Cajun tots and alcohol make it worth the trip. Read more
Service as expected....poor . Waited own table. Had to order from bar. Seemed like I was inconveniencing the staff. Was... the rooftop bar. Bartender street level was much nicer ......actually provided service. Read more
I had planned to have lunch with a friend and eat on the rooftop deck- but it was a hot day and we opted to dine on the patio on... the street: it was such a lovely lunch. The food and drinks were lovely- but our server was incredibly friendly and attentiveeven though it was busy. Great experience! Read more
We went to the restaurant. Have been to several McMenamins in the past and always enjoyed them. This time the service was slow... and the food terrible. My wife ordered the Mai Tai rice bowl, she won't order that again. I ordered the bacon cheese burger. Thehamburger was dry without much flavor, at least the bacon was good. Hopefully this was just an off day for them. Read more
