Fantastic food and service! We only got there once for breakfast but would love to go again. Everything was fresh and handmade,... including the bread and strawberry preserves too. Would love to get back for the Friday fish fry someday. I believe hours arelimited to breakfast and lunch during the week.....be sure to check. Read more
I feel like I read the website and reviews and didn\'t quite get what we expected. Staff was nice, breakfast was...basic. We... didn\'t even finish it. We were the first ones there to order about 20 minutes after they opened and it took over 30 minutes for2 eggs, toast and bacon. There were very few of the baked goods the web site talks about. I love pie and the waitress said theyusually don\'t have time to make it even though they list a dozen varieties on the website. The hotel has a cool history, theroom was very clean. I think the shared bathroom could use some work, missing tiles in the tub etc. The room was incrediblysmall and requires you be quite intimate with your roommate, so be prepared! Read more
The food was delicious, I had the avocado toast and my husband had the farmers breakfast. Both big portions, and very good. We... took a walk out by the water which was beautiful, there was some mosquitos but not horrible. Owners are very friendly andaccommodating. Read more
Amazing historical building that has very quaint decorations! The atmosphere and setting is amazing. We went for breakfast and... the service was prompt and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Nothing else like it anywhere nearby. Read more

Outstanding little bed and breakfast in a very old house. Despite this the rooms and common areas are VERY clean, the food is... fabulous and the staff and owners are enjoyable and kind people. The included breakfast alone easily makes for a 30 dollar pernight value for two against the cost of the room. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful with a pond out back and past that agorgeous lake. Excellent central location for many adventures. Fresh baked goods and excellent sodas for sale and a great littlemercantile next door for general goods. Book or dine here with confidence. We will be back. Read more
