Given the other food options in the area, I had expected better for the prices they charged. Everything was OK, but not great.
My visit was a late lunch/early dinner. Everything tasted great and we were happy with everything we ate there. Our food... was: Zucchini fritter (great breading and seasoning with scrumptious crunch in every bite, don't skip on the dipping sauce asit elevates the taste) Stuffed mushrooms (smooth buttery mushrooms with lemon sauce makes the dish sublime) Spaghetti andmeatball (great delicious perfection of tender moist meatball with saucy spaghetti) Chef's KB's Lobster carbonara (sweet piecesof lobster with snap peas in truffle cream sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. We removed the bacon) Beef tenderloin medallions(I was extremely happy with the cook as I asked for medium and it was perfectly cooked. I would recommend going down one levelof cooking to get your desired cook. The sauce was luscious and the mashed potatoes and onions were perfect sides. I requestedno mushrooms and it was put in a separate dish which I appreciated) Our server (Ric) was beyond excellent as he took great careof our food and service. He was attentive and went on his way to help us get the ultimate complete meal. I removed one starbecause the Maggiano's should have milk alternatives. We didn't get to have coffee because they didn't have almond or soy milk.They should adjust that as people can have food restrictions. I hope next time we come, they will have other milk options so wecan enjoy coffee after dinner. Read more
I ordered catering from Maggiano’s for a business event. I expect for it to be the normal fast and go service, however, the... representative went above and beyond to ensure everything was setup professionally. Her attention to detail was phenomenal, andshe was very friendly. Her name is Marta, she is the coordinator of the events and I highly recommend her if you need greatservice. Maggiano was really cute and lovely place, nice for party and dates. I had chicken piccata for lunch and i love the lemon taste... and everything about my dish. and our waitress was really nice and brought us this sweets which was so nice of him. My husband and I had a wonderful lunch this afternoon at Maggiano's at Tyson Corner. Our server was Lawrence. He was extremely... professional, attentive, and very pleasant. Maggiano’s is always amazingly constant, but I went to the location in McLean. Our server was amazing we didn’t want for... anything, honest, transparent told us what they did and didn’t that have. The food was simple but perfect, not over done,salt was just enough. Portion size is big ???? we did the meal for two felt like meal for 4, Overall will go again and again. Read more
Update: came here for dinner last night. Apparently, the menu has been updated and I ordered the same thing I had last... time...spinach and chicken manicotti. This was one of the update dishes and I must say it was not a good update. This dish wassmaller and quite salty. It just didn't taste as good sadly. I will not order it again and I included a pic of the new one soyou can see the difference in the original dish (red and white dish) and the new one I ordered last night. Excellent food! Haddinner here and can't wait to return. Staff were courteous, the restaurant was clean and the food delicious! There is a widevariety on the menu to choose from and prices are quite reasonable considering options and portion sizes. Sadly, we were sofull we couldn't order dessert but there were some great options none the less. Highly recommend! Read more
