This place is good for a large group. We showed up after a wedding and there was a pretty good beer selection at decent prices.... We didn't have to wait to get in even as a group of 8 on a Friday night. It's in a fantastic location. That said, we all had thevibe that we were crashing a party. I just love this Pub. Anytime of the week there is always something happening. Last night we listened to guitar players and a... singer and met some cool people to chill with. The food is nothing to write home about but the drinks are great! I will continueto chill here whenever I feel the need. Update...Okay I tried the mushroom pie and it was very good. It was once an awesome place.... To be fair, the food is still great, but unless you're a regular, they don't seem to be... interested in taking care of their customers. If you're a regular, the (downstairs) wait/bar staff will stand at the bar and doshots with you (Must be nice to be able to drink on the job. I'm honestly jealous.). If you're not, they can't even go upstairsto get you a beer. In the past they (Nick) have gone downstairs to get me a whisky that they were out of upstairs. Now, it'sapparently against the managers rules for downstairs staff to go upstairs. Waitress said it was because they were so busy. Funnyshe had time to hang out on the patio with other staff members and shoot the bull. Anyway, this is my second consecutive(neither of which did I see any of the old school staff) bad experience here, so I really can't fully recommend it any more.Maybe you'll hit it on a good night. This place is awesome! I felt like I was back in Boston's North End. The decor/ambiance is on point. Free flowing Irish whiskey,... great choices for draft beers. But best of all, authentic potato skins and Reuben sandwich. Delicious! These are hard things tofind these days in this area, I will definitely be back! Read more
Went on a Monday night, not busy at all. However, they did only have upstairs seating available inside. The food was delicious... and decently priced. Our server, Kyle was very awesome and friendly! Definitely recommend the sticky toffee pudding, it was soso good! Read more
