Was greeted immediately. Our drink order was taken quickly. Took awhile for for our food to be served. My chicken was served... cold because it was sitting on counter too long. I asked for gravy twice took an additional 15 minutes. At this time I asked tospeak to the manager....I'm not a complainer but felt she should be aware. Maryann was the manager on duty and she was veryhelpful. Extremely professional. Found out our waitress had never been trained to wait tables....but the waitress was verykind. Maryann was able to keep us as regular customers. Her kindness and understanding was awesome. Keep this manager and giverher a raise! When I arrived I had to wait 5-10 minutes before a host greeted me, after I was sat no one came back to take my order until I... notice the person that was sat before had already receive their food and drinks and that?s when I asked the young lady whensomeone going to help me, she preceded to go look for a server and later returned back to me asking if I could sit on the otherside of the dining room because no one was working that side of the room. I immediately got upset because why would you sit methere and then ask me to move after 20-30 minutes of waiting on someone to acknowledge me. I immediately ask to speak to amanager, 5 minutes went by a server came by asked if I needed assistance I told I just would like to speak to the manager, atthis point I had submitted my order online just to see how long it was going to take someone to acknowledge me and me receivingmy online order, when the server came and told me that the manager told her that he was too busy to talk to me because he was inthe back cooking I asked for a refund, all of a sudden he has time to address the issue. As I was trying to explain to him thesituation that had happen he interrupt me until I told him that I was disappointed in his behavior and that I didn?t want thefood and that I just wanted to get my money back, that?s when he gave me card for a free meal. this is the second time giving cotton patch a try and both time have been horrible. the food was tasteless literally so bland.... The ?fried? okra definitely wasn?t fried more like soggy batter on okra. never again Read more

Please don't mind my redundant pictures of Chicken Fried Steak and Pork Chops in this review. Just wanted to show how much we... liked these two dishes and the frequency we ordered them. Loved how pork chops were brined, so juicy and tender. Chicken friedsteak had two sizes, dinner portion were huge! Unfortunately our favorite Allen location was permanently closed. We triedMcKinney location once and it was disappointing. Food was of similar standard but service horrible. They're obviouslyshorthanded, most unoccupied table left uncleaned when we were seated. Worst yet the floor appeared to be dirty and sticky towalk on. One star deducted. We'll wait to try this location one more time before not returning. Keep our fingers crossed. Read more

30+ minutes to get a plain burger and fries. The restaurant wasn't even busy. The cooks that could speak English were too busy... flirting with the waitresses and could be heard doing so out in the dining area. Couldn't tell what the spainish speaking cookswere yelling about. Overall, absolutely horrendous experience. Its a wonder how this restaurant is even still open. Read more

My family and I were once regular customers of Cotton Patch cafe. Unfortunately this location has definitely gone downhill in my... opinion. After our experience today we will not be patronizing again. It was so bad it almost seemed like the employees whofilled the order were angry or something, I can?t imagine anyone thinking sending this order out was okay. ???? Via Uber Eats Iordered two kids meals, a bowl of chicken and dumplings, and a trio dipper. The trio dipper came with not nearly enough chips,many of which were stale and inedible. Also two tiny containers of salsa (think condiment containers), brown guacamole, and avery small amount of queso. For a $10 appetizer this was basically worthless. Also my bowl of chicken and dumplings wascompletely left out of the order. I hate it because this used to be a great place to eat. But this is the last $40 I will wasteon ordering here. Read more

1.15.22 Start with a greeting. Start with friendliness. If not we go to different eating place. Management do you hear us. The... wait was just a tease to push customers away. It did.
