We showed up right before evening rush. Our party of 6 included a wheelchair user and special diet needs. They knocked seating... out of the park. They got everyone of our orders correct on the first try! It was so nice to be able to just relax and enjoyeating out. Several of us had the salmon dinner, the salmon was moist, tender and flavorful. Our church used Hank's to cater our Homecoming Lunch. Absolutely the best decision we made! Sabrina was very nice to work with... to plan our lunch and Matt was the best server we could ask for. Absolutely the best service! The hostesses the bar tenders the waitresses even the bussers were Absolutely amazing fun not... uptight like some places. Then the food oh my gosh we started with the nachos tons of very tender meat in them. Then the hank'ssampler came out the ribs with the dry rub was heavenly the brisket was so tender and delicious beyond words and the pork waskiller hank's baked beans are the best I have ever had we also had the Mac and cheese and an order of fries Absolutely nocomplaints about anything that was served to us! Wknd family trip to VA. Stopped here to eat after doing some mini golf and ziplining. They accommodated our 8 person-group. I... don't eat meat and was happy to find shrimp and grits and on the menu. Other members ordered ribs, macaroni and cheese, Caesarsalad, catfish, and the nachos. We surprisingly did not wait too long for our meals. Every single item was well seasoned andcooked throughly. The Lava Lemonade was addictive. Place was clean and quiet and modern. My only complaint were the smallportions . I had more sauce than grits. It was a pretty great experience overall! Fast service! Only reason for 4 stars was because I felt like our server kept... forgetting about our drinks, and only one at the table got a refill. GET THE NACHOS! I don't know if they were on their game, or we got there at a good time, but these nachos were quite possibly... the best nachos I have ever had. Perfect balance of toppings and chips. The flavors worked well together... Just wow! The restof the food was really good too, but I can't get over these nachos!!! From all the reviews here I was looking forward to coming here to eat. Unfortunately there were some parts of this visit that... were unpleasant. The service from our waitresses was less than desirable. The seating was fast and everything went good in thebeginning. I ordered the Brunswick stew, the cheddar cornbread and honey butter, the Texas grilled cheese sandwich with bakedbeans and macaroni and cheese, and for dessert I had the bourbon chocolate chip pecan pie. Here are my ratings: Brunswick stew- Would Recommend Minus Cheddar cornbread and honey butter - Would recommend Texas grilled cheese sandwich - Wouldrecommend Baked beans - Meh Macaroni and cheese - Meh Bourbon chocolate chip pecan pie - Meh The Brunswick stew was full ofmeat but the flavor was a little bit bland. The baked beans were average as was the macaroni and cheese. Bourbon chocolate chippecan pie had a good filling but the crust dropped the score. When it came to the food, it wasn't a bad stop to make to eat.Unfortunately the service was terrible after the initial seating. Our drinks remained empty for approximately 10 minutes beforerefills were brought and they were brought in two stages because she forgot one drink the second time she was asked for drinks.Also we asked for a specific barbecue sauce and after several minutes the waitress who said she was going to get it didn't bringit and we asked the next original waitress for it. It was several minutes before she brought it and the meal was 90% over. Thisis unacceptable! These are tough times and I realize it is very hard to get good employees but we have decided not to return tothis establishment because of it.
