My experience has become very poor lately. while being served i noticed that my portions were not as big as those sitting with... me, due to the fact that my specific cook was busy mingling & flirting with those seated. i complained to the person thateverybody deemed manager for the day and he got agitated with me as if i wanted something out of sharing my experience in hisestablishment. Long But Worth Reading? I came to this location on 12/06 for Dinner. We first waited 20 mins to be seated (to be expected), the... front person seated us w/ another family after us saying multiple times were NOT together. I know at hibachi you sit w/ ppl youdon?t know sometimes; but this party was Large. My family & I had to squeeze in & keep shifting around. After waiting another 20mins for our drink order, we were told we had to move to another table bc the one we were at was broken?. This is what?sIMPORTANT; after being seated I saw signs that says Hibachi experience is an additional 18%, using a debit/credit is anadditional 3.5% (who uses cash in 2022) When I asked why 18%, I was told because the Chefs don?t make much & this is their tip.Speaking as a Chef, I think it?s absurd that the customers has to pay 18% more, bc this establishment is TOO CHEAP to pay theircooks a living wage. (YES I BELIEVE IN TIPPING, But I should decide how much to tip) FYI, Before you order you?re already paying21.5%? The Chef was nice, friendly & professional.
