It was ok. I thought it would have been better based on the reviews. The staff was friendly and our service was good. I wouldn?t... say excellent. I give fair, honest reviews. I?ll go back to try them out again in the future, but didn?t officially take over asmy go to breakfast spot. This time I got lunch and that might be part of my disappointment, but I wanted to try something new.Their fried green tomatoes were very good! Brock liked everything on his side of the table , and he?s a really picky, yet simpleeater (food allergies). Edit: So I?ve returned a few times since this original review and they?ve earned 4 stars. The friedgreen tomatoes are life. Read more

Greeted by a Georgian hospitality, this family restaurant is serving up amazing country style meals. Open for breakfast and... lunch, its menu has a variety of options to choose from. Highly recommend this place in McDonough Downtown Square. Read more

If you're confident enough to name your restaurant after a specific food, I'm going to expect that particular food to be... absolutely bomb. Sadly, that was not the case here. The grits were just some plain old grits. Definitely not bad, but not thetaste explosion I had expected. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, however. So maybe a name change is in order? Therestroom felt like a sauna, with the temperature and humidity being suitable only for some type of tree frog. The walls wereseriously damp with condensation. It sort of reminded me of using a 103° port-a-potty in July. Anyway, the rest of my visitwas quite pleasant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server was accommodating of our requests. The atmosphere wasnice and I would probably eat here again. Read more

The staff was pleasant from the call in order to the time I picked up my food and it seems like they keep a pretty steady crowd... which is good. I don?t like that they don?t have many vegan/vegetarian options (daily) so I was forced to get a lot of carbs. Ican say that the French toast was great and the grits were bussing (delicious). I?ma biscuit lover but the biscuit didn?t reallygive me what I was looking for. I will have to try them one day when they have fish ( I believe Sundays). No major complaints. Read more

I had the large French toast with chicken sausage, large grits with hashbrown, and onions added. The grits were some of the best... ones I've had at a restaurant without needing to add anything to it. The French toast were very fluffy and had a great flavor onthem. They are definitely worth the visit Read more
