I love the convenience of ordering ahead and having it ready when I arrive. The food is excellent.
I've been to several American Deli locations, and I recently tried this one in McDonough on Jonesboro Rd. I got my usual order... of a chicken philly combo with a peach lemonade. The food was cooked to order very well. The staff was kind too. I even chattedwith the owner, and he was really cool and down to earth. I've visited this restaurant subsequently, and the food & service havebeen consistent. This is my new favorite American Deli location. Read more

Usually very food, but not today. Wings were over cooked and didn't give me correct flavor. Asked for. Crispy fries, but they... were pale. I guess I should have checked . Will try again. However, Decatur next to the Weave shop is the BEST!!! Read more
Great service and ALL FOOD FRESH!!!! The kids practically inhaled the fried whiting fish and fries! This is a plus because we... have a picky eater...so if it was good to her, trust me, IT WAS GOOD. I ordered a 40 piece split with honey hot, lemon pepper and buffalo with vegetable fried rice. By time I got home split up the... box and started eating and we all noticed there was no lemon pepper seasoning on the chicken. The buffalo was decent and thehoney hot was just hot no honey. The fried vegetable rice was bland af. The rice was bloated like precooked or something. Theonly thing I could taste was really the onion which were huge chunks. I don?t think I?ll be visiting this location anymore Ishould?ve went with Wing Hut On Hudson bridge, they?re fried rice is authentic with real vegetables and egg. But I was Rightnext to American deli and took my chances. Never again. Read more
