Menu for McAllister Inn Steakhouse Bar & Lodge in McAllister, MT

We have always had great meals at McAllister Inn. However, our last experience was terrible. We had reservations for 7:00 pm and... we were promptly seated. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes, our server stopped at our table. We ordered a drink fromthe bar and she came back to take our food order. The appetizer was delicious and served hot. After this, the rest was terrible.Our dinner finally came out a little after 8:30. The $50 steak was cold as were the au gratin potatoes. My chicken was cold andthe baked potato was kinda warm. When we told the waitress, she seemed very unconcerned. We were not looking for a free meal.Unfortunately, we will never go back. Read more

Quiet, quaint, and quality hotel! In the middle of nowhere but not too far from grocery store, restaurants, and a good middle... hub if visiting Bozeman or Yellowstone. Beautiful room with high ceilings, private back patio is a nice touch to each room. Willdefinitely return! Read more

Lodging- you won't find any place that's better if you're in Ennis or McAllister. Large rooms and super clean. Laundry room and... vending machine on premises. Each room has a back porch with spectacular views of the mountains. Restaurant- Hands down myFavorite place to dine. The beef is from the Lone Heart ranch down the road. The Walleye is hugely popular. The shrimpcocktail is my favorite appetizer. Read more

Was early for dinner so sat in the bar area. Had appetizers that where good. Ordered dinner/Walleye dinner. It had no flavor... and was not worth $35.00. Also took over 40 minutes to get steak and walleye delivered to table. Expensive and not worth it. Go somewhere else. Read more
