This place has terrible service. I only keep going back because the food is good. The young waitress never serviced us. She... never camr to give us refills or check on us. My potato hardly had any cheese, butter, cream. I had to find her to tell her tobring me some. When the bill came they charged me $3 more for that. And I ask to talk to the manager he didn't even speakEnglish. Nobody spoke English in this place. He sided with the waitress. I told him you gotta tell people your gna charge themfor something when they ask. He said no. And that he couldn't help me. As we were leaving another waitress was telling mywaitress "that she needs to shape up because all of her tables were asking her for refills and other things. So I wasn't theonly one getting bad service. And the manager should not be a manager. He should know both English and Spanish. And he was veryrude and unapologetic. Terrible service. 0 stars! Horribly disgusting customer service from the manager on duty on 11/06/2022. The restaurant was practically empty but... yet we waited for our food for about 25 to 30 minutes. The food came out cold and when I returned it he wanted to charge me foreverything since I had taken a bite out if the taco and the baked potato. I did pay for what we consumed. He raised his voiceat me while trying to make me understand how busy the drive thru was...unacceptable...and in front of my 8 y/o son! There is noreason for bad customer service and there is definitely no good reason for a manager to make a customer feel harassed. On topof everything, he refused to give me his supervisor's name. We have been coming here for years, service has gotten worse by the day. It's empty now compared to before. We seem to brush it... off ,due to forgetting and end up here while in mcallen, today was the last draw, spouse took out a piece of plastic from herfirst spoon of beans right in front of waitress. NOT a single apology or manager showed concern at all. She took long to get ourorder right and it still was brought out completely wrong. All I wanted was no cream on a papa, and ended up getting to plainpapa's with everything on the side... time to make a post on a restaurant group page to find a new taqueria. Read more

As for the food (botana)--nothing spectacular. Limited on the meats. I did not like nor did I eat the rice. Off taste. The... waiter was very nice though. Stick to Zamora's. Read more
The beef fajitas parrillada was okay, the cost for it is $13.99. The beef fajitas were okay not heavily seasoned, the grilled... onions were delicious they got some sort of seasoning, the beans had a good taste to them, the rice was a bit simple the tastewas just decent, the charro beans had a good taste but they were lacking bacon, cueritos or salchichas. Overall i think thefood is okay, but for the price it should have guacamole (or replace beans and rice for it), and a bit more meat. Read more
Love this place! Tacos amazing. Beans, amazing. Price, you can't beat it. Reason for three stars? They play their music way... loud. I asked three times for the music to be lowered each time they raised it up after about 5 to 10 minutes. Unacceptable. Icould not hear myself during the whole dinner. Read more
Great food, cannot go wrong with their choices and prices. Definitely a spot for some authentic Mexican eating.
