Very clean and good customer service. Super duper good fried chicken that makes you want some every time you think about it.
My wife and I stopped at this Popeyes because we had a taste for some chicken. Everyone that has ever eaten at Popeyes already... knows their food is good. A nice place to take your family to enjoy a meal. I decided to write a review about this particularlocation. Not because of the food but because of a store manager named Lorena. I was standing in line waiting for my food and agentleman came into the store who appeared to be less fortunate. My wife and I recently moved to the RGV from California. InCalifornia some people are rude, inconsiderate and just downright mean to the homeless. I won't say what Lorena did but itshowed me there are still good people in this world. The man was able to leave the restaurant with dignity. Hopefully thekindness Lorena showed this gentleman will get him through. Popeyes management should be proud of this employee. Lorena wentabove and beyond to satisfy/help a customer who was down on his luck Lorena showed true love and compassion for her fellow man.Lorena's parents raised her well and I'm sure the parents are very proud. My wife and I had a great dinning experience. Weenjoyed the food with a smile on our face. It's people like Lorena who truly make this world a better place. Just think if eachof us loved each other like God intended, we wouldn't be living in the world we currently live in. Awesome service. You goLorena. You definitely made our day. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not sure if the employee at the drive thru was having a rough day but he seemed annoyed that he... had to take our order, giving sighs and ughs while ordering. Fine whatever, used to it at other places. At the window he made itvery clear he didn't want to be there. However, there was a spider in my daughter's drink! He changed it but did not apologizeand looked annoyed that he had to do that! I don't ever expect the best customer service but this was unacceptable. Read more
Chicken was very overcooked, not fresh at all, very dry and flour season batter on chicken almost burned and hard. Fries were... also dry and overcooked. Will never go there again. On a good note, cashier was friendly. Read more
I'm only given 2 stars today because the chicken looked and tasted like it set under the heat lamp too long. Also the fries were... not fresh. They were soggy. The side dishes and the chicken sandwich I got we're very good. Just an FYI when chicken is yourmain dish in sure it is always fresh. Read more
I ordered 3 PC combo. It looked I got the tiny tot meal. The piece of leg and thigh were the size of my thumb. No wonder when... you order a combo everything fits in that tiny box. Read more
