Really good. This is not a cheep meal. But it's worth it.. I could not decide. But was happy with what I got. A Hawaiian bowl... with soup and a drink. Plus a spam musubi. Definitely talk with the people there. They are so good at what they do.. Spent $20. Read more

Where to start? The fact that this big city franchise was brought down and constructed from ground up to our little pocket of... the world during a raging pandemic and STILL manages to have the BEST customer service at a time where finding good employees isso rare definitely blows my mind. It shows the working environment, dynamic and culture of the owners and how much they trulycare for their employees and customers. A++ for incredible staff and owners. Moving onto the food - as a vegetarian who doesn?teven eat seafood, I went to show support for these small business owners who put their heart and soul into opening this eateryin such difficult times. I have never had a poke bowl in my life and was so excited to see a vegetarian option on their menu soof course I had to try it. All I have to say is that I have already been there twice and they just opened today. I?ll let youfigure out what that means. A++ for FRESH, healthy and yet still SCRUMPTIOUS ingredients that leave you full but not in thatgross lethargic way. Lastly, the vibe you get by just walking in through those doors are of nothing but happiness, friendlinessand just an all around warmth of being truly welcomed. I think, no I KNOW, I found my multiple times a week lunch spot! I?m sodang proud to know that there are people in our community who care about our city being known as one of the fattest in thenation and decided not to bring another fast food chain down here. Visiting from Arizona for the weekend and so glad we got to experience the grand opening! Food was amazing everything was fresh... and clean. With business being busy for being the grand opening staff was very nice and friendly. Will definitely comeback whenwe visit Mcallen again. Maybe considering opening one in Arizona would be awesome! The Poke bowls from here are amazing the Spicy Tuna was really good they seared mine with a blowtorch, all the ingredients are... amazing and of great quality. They have many many options to choose from for toppings, and for proteins also. The staff hereis so wonderful and kind, I asked what the Spam looking thing was and they kindly explained it to me and gave me one for free(the Spam Musubi was very delicious, the sweet taste from eal sauce was incredible), that is amazing customer service. Overall Iwould definitely recommend and I do see my self returning to Pokeworks. Read more
