Great restaurant, great food, great service! We will definitely be coming back. My family and I had different plates as it was... our first time visiting La Chula. They were all delicious and accompanied by homemade corn tortillas. For dessert we had thechurros and by the time we knew it the churro cart was empty. The corn tortillas are homemade; they're good. The wait staff was attentive. The place is small and the seating is very... controlled. While I was there 2 groups left bc they couldn't sit where they wanted. If you're gna pay with a card, you'll becharged a service fee. You don't find put until you go to the register to pay. The huevos rancheros here are very good, for $5.75 you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon. The eggs are perfectly... cooked over medium,the salsa for the eggs is very delicious, the potatoes are simple with no seasoning, the refried beans aredelicious i believe they have lard and chorizo, the bacon is pretty good it comes chopped i think about 1 strip of bacon. Theyellow corn tortillas from here are delicious and made fresh, I highly recommend them. The migadas they make are delicious butexpensive. First time here. Wifey n I decided on take out. If you play chalupa (bingo) you will love the environment, very clean and staff... was quick to serve. We ordered 4 tacos to go and the red salsa is ????????. $9 bill not bad. Tacos good size, tortillas freshlymade and all the fillings were delish. Read more
More tortilla and bread than actual filling and we got a red and green salsa that look like they?ve already been used?? I guess... I?m supposed to use as little salsa as they did beef. Ok yall I just updated their menu prices and for the price I expected a lil more food but nope... I had to open up my... Sincronizada to spread it around... I know I should of taken a pick of it but I was a lil distracted by people coming in to arestuarant to play Spanish lottery (El Borracho cards type). Hell even my waiter was playing... had to flag him down to get hisattention. SMH! Won't say I'm not going back, but I'll wait a lil more and c if they saw this and correct the amount for thebuck and a lil more attention to customers rather than the game. Oh and since the game is played everywhere don't reserve theseats... u want people to come and sit where theirs no people sitting at that moment to have a meal. We come in and they say ohsorry but u can sit to the right, just those 3 tables cuz the other ones r reserved. I know I should of just turned around andsaid ok u don't want my business cuz I'm here and their not.
