Becare when paying for your food. As a frequent customer, I had always recommended this place to friends and family but my visit... at the restaurant yesterday makes me rethink if I should continue being a loyal customer. I?ve recently purchased a large deepfried milk fish for $11, and yesterday we were charged $14, and I am sure it was sitting around for a while since it wascold. Their med sz beef stew used to be $6, and were were charged $9, which is completely overpriced because a combo meal withtwo side is about around $10-11. Although the reciept shows the seafood was by weight, I did not see them put the fried fish onthe scale. I?ve always paid the same price until today. The man at the cashier clearly ripped off my husband for our take out.I doubt priced would spike by $3 within 1 month. Huge disappointment!!! I?ll be visiting Max?s Restaurant more often now forphilipino food. Read more

I used to love the empanadas. Last time I went they no longer had empanadas (they told me they no lonher carry them) and they... didn't have lechon. I actually walked out empty handed. ??????? Read more

Good place to get Filipino food. They have a combo plate with rice or pancit with 2 entrees for $10. They always share their... menu on Facebook daily. Also have some filipino grocery staples I can't find elsewhere (e.g., halo halo ingredients, magnoliaice cream, patis, banana ketchup, nestle cream, palabok noodles), but no produce. Read more

Masarap! Masarap means delicious! And every thing here is masarap!! Authentic Filipino food in Jersey! Location: It is located... in Maywood in NJ. The store is typical Filipino store which has display of all the food and you just (turo turo) point point allthe food you want to order. Service: they are very nice, I order here multiple times and still have the great Filipinohospitality. Food: Everything was so delicious and good! You might order everything! My favorites are PORK or CHICKEN BARBECUE:omg this was the best! So delicious and smoky! They have good amount of meat on the stick! Very juicy inside! LECHON BELLY withPAELLA: you have to order in advance cause you can?t get this when you go in the store, the lechon is so crispy and tenderinside. The paella was so good and a lot of seafood! EMBUTIDO: the embutido is good but you have to fry it first before you eat,it is way better that way. BILO BILO: omg my favorite Filipino snack, it is so creamy and a lot of glutinous rice! The sweetpotato are very sweet too! BAKED BANGUS: boneless bangus with mayo and baked to goodness! So yummy we order usually 3 of this!PANSIT: the noodles was perfectly cooked and veggies are fresh. KUTSINTA: omg this is my favorite! Rice cake with coconutstrings! So good. BUKO PANDAN: this is legit taste of buko pandan, sorry I don?t have a picture but this is a must! Pricerating: 6/10, very cheap! the price matches all the deliciousness! Not bad for all the goodness. Well I have been here multipletimes even though I live in NYC. We go here just to have their delicious food! Perfect for parties as well! Read more

Delicious Filipino food in Bergen county. Clean location but unfortunately at the time due to Covid I was not able to dine in.... There was so much selection of many dishes. The prices were affordable. Read more
