Just tried the chicken plate with slaw and Mac on the side. Chicken is good but would love to get a bit more pieces. The slaw... and Mac is really sour (acidic). The amount of Chicken can't cut through the acidity which seeps to the bed of rice. So the riceis kinda acidic too. For a to go or delivery, maybe less rice and more chicken. Read more
I had to try the PBJJ breakfast sandwich. Peanut butter, jelly, fried egg, bacon, picketed jalapeños. It sounds intriguing. But... someone definitely took a blunt to the face one night and made this sandwich and falsely remembered it being amazing. It?s notbad, but it?s not?.necessary?..at all. Lmao. I also ordered the classic chicken breakfast sandwich just in case the PBJJ wasn?thittin? (thank you past self), and it was very mediocre. The service was great tho. A good place to get your chicken fix, but the tables for dine in were not clean. Other than that, their chicken sandwich is very... good. Their extra hot is not very spicy that it would make you cry, but has a good enough kick to make you want to drink coldwater. Read more

The restaurant is located in Maywood, which is tucked away in the middle of an industrial area surrounded by train tracks. We... saw the bright yellow awning and cute lights as we turned into the plaza. As we walked into the restaurant, I was a bit sadthat we couldn?t dine indoors. They offered up the patio as an alternative, and luckily we were all dressed for the blisteringcold. They also do not let customers use the restroom, so make sure you use the bathroom before dining in? I looked at the menuearlier and was really looking forward to trying The egg N bird, I love eggs in my sandwiches but totally missed the part whereit said it was a breakfast only sandwich. I was then debating between the Fried Chicken Banh Mi and the Korean Hot. In the end,I settled for the FC Banh Mi. It had a nice buttery bun, with a flavorful Asian slaw. It was a nice flavor and went well withthe chicken. The seasoned fries were nice and crunchy, and went well with that crack sauce! The tenders didn?t get good reviewsthough, overcooked, dry and lacked flavor. It relies too heavily on the sauce to carry the chicken tenders. The sandwiches werebetter just because of all the flavors that surround the chicken. It?s a nice little chicken sandwich spot, and worth a try. They have a new menu that is a must try! Korean Hot Bird Sandwich! I am from Korea and I knew right away what sauce they used.... Normally this is a sauce that is used on Spicy Korean Rice Cakes that are made on the griddle, sold on the streets of Korea. Itbrought me back to times that I lived in Korea, buying them off the streets! Thank you Egg N Bird for bringing back goodmemories! Korean slaw that is in the sandwich is different from their original bird sandwich but it tastes very fresh and hitsright on the spot in the mouth and in the stomach. My wife and I have become a regular to Egg N Bird and it was really nice tosee new special menu items. Korean Hot Sandwich is definitely a hit. If you have not tried it, you must. My wife also got theKorean Hot Style Chicken on top of the fries and we could not stop our hands from going to it constantly. Take a look at thedelicious food photos below~! Finally tried this local place. Had a normal chicken sandwich and their dirty fries. Sandwich was good, thick and juicy. Crack... sauce has this sweet taste with a little spice to it. My sandwich was missing pickles though. But still really good. Fries weregood as well, nice size. It comes with the same sauce so it was a nice flavor. Will be back to try out the breakfast sandwich. First impression? WOW! Let me check this place out! I ordered the FC Banh Mi Sandwich and a large drink which came at about $15.... and some change. Not disappointed at all. The sandwich brings you Fried Chicken tenders, Asian Slaw, Jalapeños, Cilantro &Crack Sauce. The sauce and jalapeno combination kick taste buds into a new dimension.
