Have gone to Fox Valley so many times and wanted to try the knockoff Fox Valley. Did not enjoy crab cakes and my dining partner... said his nut crusted fish was piled upon chards of butter. For the prices and quantity of food I won't be back. Read more
Just called to do an order for pick up at 6:42pm. I was told they were too busy. Business must be going great so much so that... they can turn down a loyal customer. Truly a hidden gem. The crab cakes are legendary and rightly so. Gourmet dishes in a casual atmosphere at a fair price. Chef Dan... personally checked on us and it was greatly appreciated as first time diners. Read more
I didnt find out this restaurant opened in the old Fox Valley building until recently. I was always a huge fan of Fox Valley and... drove 60 miles to eat there. Went to the new one for the first time last night. The most important thing....the crabcakes....are just as wonderful as I remembered them. Best in at least this state I've had. The Caesar Salad was also as Iremembered it....great. We tried some of the new items as well. Nachos were tasty. Bread pudding was also delicious...would havebeen moreso if it were served warm in our opinion. The menu mix here is unusual. Owners have tried to keep some of thefavorites from a fine dining restaurant and combine with more casual food. Brings an unusual mix of food and people, but Ican't deny the meal was great, service was friendly and we enjoyed it. If you miss the old Fox Valley like us you should give ita try. Read more
Ordered Crab cakes. They were delicious. Ordered a house salad and it was too much lettuce with 2 slices of tomato and onions.... Disappointed in that. My friend ordered mash potatoes and they were forgotten. They did bring her the dish and it was hot andgood. Read more
Was our first time eating there and was not disappointed!! Very very good !! Worth it!! Will be returning !!
