We just stopped at Log Cabin Deli, driving from Minneapolis to Illinois. It is right off the interstate and worth the stop. My... husband had the chicken salad sandwich, I had the turkey panini special and my daughter had a grilled cheese and turkey noodlesoup and we got a side of coleslaw. Everything was homemade and delicious and the man behind the counter was very friendly andhelpful. We often make this trip to see our kids in college and will definitely stop again. Read more
If you want a quick, delicious alternative to fast food franchises this is the place. Two minutes West off I-94, Mauston exit.... Cute, well run and food is absolutely delicious. Try the Gyro sandwich and take home delicious pastry or deli meats andcheeses. It's been a few years since we visited but I felt inclined to do a review (I figured I already had). Spacious and inviting... dining room with so many tempting products. Great sandwiches, friendly service, and a fun store to shop. We had a wonderfullunch there and took a couple armfuls of goods for later. The sandwiches were great. The BLT had super flavor. My mom had the chicken salad sandwich and could not eat it all, it was so... large. I tried the pecan chicken salad on iceberg lettuce very good. Had the pleasure of pulling off the I-90 on 6/12 and instead of getting fast food we stopped into the Log Cabin, and was it... worth it. First off I am a big proponent of supporting small business.
