I came for the Friday special! Chicken and dumplings with a salad. This was delicious. Savory and hearty meal with a fresh... Caesar salad, you can choose your salad btw. We enjoy fried green tomatoes before the main course and wasn?t too impress, plusthey cost more than the dumplings. Secondly the Tomatoes were cut thin and didn?t give you that juicy flavor you need to counterbalance the fried exterior. Yummy food and a casual atmosphere. I had the Shrimp Dinner. Quite the crowd despite it being a Monday night.
My first visit here. The atmosphere is fantastic and so was the service. The food, however, is way over-priced and nothing to... write home about. I had the salmon chopped salad, and my friend had a steak salad. As you can see from this picture, the corn isdehydrated and tasted like it too (and this is a $22 salad, btw!). I visited here at around 6:30 pm so it was very busy, had to sit at the bar. The service was decent, given the time of day. The... pizza was ok. I guess my main issue was the amount of toppings they give, specifically the veggies, at $1.25 per topping. Theamounts of meats and mushrooms were fine but I got about a dime's worth of bell peppers.
