Went to this place because it's close by. I love Mexican food but didn't want to go to my usual place! What I ordered was... overpriced for a chimichanga! They bring it out and no guacamole salad. I asked for a guacamole salad, which I was charged 5.25for. Behold, in my "guacamole" was a pea! I've heard of Mexican restaurants doing this before but included it, not charged 5.25!Food was good but overpriced! If you go here, beware of the ground peas posing as guacamole! Read more

I visited for lunch today with my kids and their grandmother. We were able to sit out on the patio which was fairly cool for... such a warm day. We had a small dog with us as well so we sat near the corner of the patio. Our sever was fast and veryattentive. The food was really great! Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The one thing I didn?t love was theinitial salsa was very bland but the spicy salsa was GREAT! My oldest has a thing for ceviche and for the money it was justalright. Flavor was a bit lacking but the addition of the lime helped. For $19 I expected a little better but the presentationwas beautiful. I highly recommend the chunky guacamole which we could have gotten 2 orders of but decided we probably shouldsave room for the entrees. If you have kids their kids chicken fingers is a huge plate. I am always nervous about a new dining experience. Viva Villa immediately put me at ease. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff,... along with great food, create a memorable time with family or friends. Fajitas was perfect. The only draw back is the chillyair conditioning. Wear a sweater to dine indoors. Second visit today. The chicken lunch fajita was exceptional, and the carneasada was a big hit with my husband. The taco sauce could use some flavor, but they get great ratings on service andfriendliness. Read more
