Had 2 double hamburgers and both were bright pink inside. Fries were good and that's it. I was nauseous all evening. Didn't puke... or anything else surprisingly but my god it was bad. The cook should be fired immediately! Never going here again that's forsure! $40.00 for 2 people. Might as well just flush the $ down the toilet. Read more
I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but I have to say in the past months it has really improved. The food is delicious and... I especially enjoy the daily specials . Of course the hamburgers, breaded mushrooms, and onion rings are also great ! Whateveryou do, save room for pie .... peanut butter is my favorite. Read more
Awesome food. All the wait staff knee their menu and didn't have to 'go check' about anything.
We got seated quickly but were passed by by several waitresses before one brought us menus and took drink orders. When we... ordered we asked that out onion rings come out with our food. They got brought out so long before we got our sandwiches thatthey got cold. When my BLT finally got brought out it was room temperature. Overall I was disappointed in the dinner. Read more
This is a popular place that relies solely on word of mouth to bring in customers. I tried their famous Elephant Ear Tenderloin... and I found it to be very tasty and reasonably priced. It goes great with either mustard or pickle. Onion rings were good butthat tenderloin really filled me up so I could not finish. Heard a lot of people raving about the pie. Didn't have room in mybelly for any. Will try some next time. Read more
Super fun, friendly staff who always provide the best service! Love their B&G and hasbrowns (get them smothered in their... homemade gravy!) If you're a fried mushroom or country fried steak fanatic, you won't be disappointed! I don't know how theymake them, but they're the bomb BEST little mom and pop spot in Coles County! Read more
