An amazing experience every time. Everyone we take here loves it as much as we do. Hear me out- depending on the place some... sushi can blend together and taste the same and require a lot of sauce, but not here. Each roll has distinct, deliciousflavor-no sauce needed. I was so surprised by how fresh their sashimi was!!! We ordered the sashimi sushi combo and some uni. The tuna sashimi was... really fresh, it literally melted in my mouth. Uni was sweet and fresh. This place is not terrible. It's okay if you're in a rush and you have to have sushi but NO WAY this place should have a better... rating than New Zealand Cafe which is only 10 minutes away. New Zealand Cafe is hands-down the best sushi place in theCharlotte, NC/ SC Region. If someone gives this place 5 stars then they would give New Zealand Cafe 10 stars if they take thetime to visit. We?ve eaten here several times and have enjoyed everything. Tonight I had the premium chirashi platter, which had the chef?s... selection of sashimi over sushi rice. My wife had the sushi platter. Excellent sushi rolls and you get a lot of sushi for the money. We got the large sashimi and sushi combo plate. It was 15 pieces... of sashimi and actually 10 Nigiri. Everything was fresh. Highly Recommend! First time here. Super clean interior, polite and welcoming staff, and the sushi was very good. I tend to shy... away from shopping center sushi locations having been burned with poor experiences. Well this place was great. Our waiter wasaccommodating, pleasant and professional.
