I ordered Steak, Steak and Shrimp and 2 Chicken Hibachi. Steak and chicken was tough, dry and overcooked. I was surprised to... see so much juice that it spilled inside the plastic bag.. Whenever I checked to see where the juice is coming from, themushroom and zucchini was mixed with the meat. It did not look like Hibachi grill. More like sautéed meat and veggie. I had aterrible experience with this food. I rated it 2 Star because we still ate it and mainly because my grandchildren were hungry.I?m sure they must have other specialties but not Hibachi. Amazing customer service at Osaka's as always even towards their former employees. They always made sure everyone was taken care... of while working including requesting for days off as long as you communicate reasonably. As long as you give your 2 weeksnotice just like any other job and not walk out and never come back, things will be left on good terms. You have to treat otherswith respect if you want respect back. If it wasn't for the fact that I moved, I would've kept working there. I ate there everytime I worked and even after leaving, I still come out of my way to become a customer. Thank you OSAKA! Tucked away in a shopping center, ample parking including accessible spots and entrance. Decent prices for large portions. Very... solid Japanese spot in mint hill/Matthews area. Highly recommend the spicy tuna rice crispy square small plate and the stuffedjalapenos smaller plate. Bento boxes are fantastic and come with a lot of options and food. Excellent spot for fresh sushi. Wait staff is always on point. Quiet, casual and very clean. Our local go to for sushi.

My 2nd time here. I'm hoping to be a regular. Service is awesome. It's quiet and chill. Food was great. I live 5 minutes down... the street, nice to know I can have a delicious sushi meal quickly. The only quibble I had was that the side salads are just aboring bowl of iceberg lettuce with the dressing, and you can't switch it for the seaweed salad, which I love. Whatever.
