Service slow Our plates sat at table empty for the longest; even though we were done had already paid and we?re just sitting... chatting. Who wants to sit over dirty plates. Sat at the bar on a Sunday night. In town for business. Sye took great care of me. I started with the ceasar salad that was... really good. I then got the new York strip with sweet potatoes. I normally get a filet as the strip was a little tougher thanI'm use to for steak. It was cooked correct and had good flavor. I'm just used to a filet. Now the sweet potatoes were the bestpart. Wow how disappointed I was ????. I asked for ?MEDIUM? well and received my steak ?THE LONGHORN? super well done ???????????. I... was SO craving a delicious 22oz warm pink middle steak but was brought to halt when having to SAW threw this beautiful cut ofmeat like wood. The waitress asked ?would you like another steak?? First visit to a Longhorn Steakhouse in years. Beautiful decor. Slower night, service was attentive. I was hungry but not... starving, so I ordered the chopped steak. Flavorful plate but charred more than I like and not enough gravy. You can never haveenough bread and gravy! I am mindful most restaurants are severely understaffed with new trainees everywhere. Went here tonight for my bday dinner. Food came out lukewarm, but the service was good in spite of having to wait awhile to get... drinks and food, but still being in a pandemic with staffing issues I expect extended wait times. Food still had a good flavorbut I?m sure would have been much better if it came out piping out. Funny thing I was starving when I arrived. There were 7 to 10 customers in the place. The staff was hustling around and from... what I could see. The service area, the bar and deliveries services to the kitchen was buzzing with activity. Something somerestaurants struggle with these days but this visit, everyone news working hard. I did have a manager check on me. As you mayknow, I respect that. It shows that they are vested into the business. The food was actually good. My waiter was a little slowbut he had a table of 4 and I was just a table of 1. I saw the other hustling. From the front desk to the table guy that lookslike a young Tom Cruise. So in all, I really didn't review the Outback Steakhouse down the road since they were short staffedat the time of my visit. But I enjoy this place.
