The only reason why this is not a 1 star review is because I haven?t had terrible service here every time. On Veterans Day I go... through the drive thru to get the free coffee and donut for veterans. I had full intentions on purchasing more than just thatbut I lost my appetite due to being in line for 30-45 minutes. With no way to drive out of the drive thru. We usually live this place, but the last visit I was picking up 3 dozen doughnuts I had ordered online. I typically pick the up... through the drive-thru. No one answered at the speaker (approx 7:20 am) I pulled to the window and waited 10 minutes! All thewhile not one, but two employees came to the register and did not acknowledge me once. One actually took an order for a carbehind me. I went inside and told the "manager" I had been waiting and when she asked my name she said "those have been done!" Really? That's why I was waiting at the window to pick them up. We will give this one a chance again (maybe having a bad day)but wow what a waste of time for something that had already "been done". Read more
Who doesn't love 'hot, fresh donuts'??!!! Don't try to count calories on your visit to Krispy Kreme...just embrace the moment! ... ???? The location in Matthews, NC was exceptionally clean. We sat at the table and enjoyed watching the donuts being made. Curtis provided outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this location and if you can skip the drive through and goinside, you'll enjoy watching those delicious being made! Read more
Catching up on reviews. I frequent this location the most. This review is for my Sunday, 07-03-22 visit. I'm a rewards member... and stopped by to try the new doughnut flavored ice cream. I believe I had an email that allowed me to try an ice cream productfor free. I splurged & tried the original milkshake. It was ok. On another visit, I wanted to take advantage of the ice creamcups for $1. The email advertised flavors of vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry. I was under the impression that there would beactual chocolate and strawberry ice cream. All of the ice cream was vanilla; it was the toppings that gave the differentflavors. Disappointed that that wasn't explained in the advertisement. To make matters worse, they didn't have all of theflavors they'd advertised. Usually, the staff members are pleasant and courteous. I usually don't go to this location but I was in area and thought why not...the attitude and disrespect from the cashier was... disgusting. I more than anyone understand what it's like to work in food service but not just because you are having a bad daymeans the customer has to get the bad end of the stick. We are all human beings living in such a crazy world, being nice doesn'tcost anything and who knows maybe that one smile can cause a chain reaction for bettering another one's day and so on..I donteven care that they didnt get my order right but just by the way i was treated, i definitely won't be coming back to thislocation.
