We will be back!! Wow, I took my daughter out to lunch. We tried to come here for breakfast but they opened up later than we... thought. We were greeted my a gentleman holding the door for us. We brought I service dog with us. We were promptly seated,waited on for drinks. He even brought water for our dog. Very nice. Food was plentiful and great! Went to the Fresh Chef restaurant in Stevens Mill and it was a lovely experience. I was not a fan of the one off of Idlewild Rd,... but the service and cleanliness is much better at this location. Justice was our server and he was kind, professional, andattentive. We would love to have him as our server again! When he was busy, the rest of the staff came to us frequently to checkon us and they were all so kind and lovely. The food is awesome too! Their kale salad blew me away and I don't even like kale!Cheeseburger and fries were beautiful and yummy as well! Read more

I came out with my girl for date night, we had to remind our server that we ordered drinks. Then we had to remind him that we... ordered an appetizer and he said that he forgot it was in the microwave?.I kid you not. And it was not even hot! $16 +tax for this??? Maybe 2 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. This is my order of meatloaf with double mashed potatoes from the... dinner menu and I receive a lunch portion (if that) in an extra large to-go container. Also no point in curbside service ifnobody comes to the car and you have to go in to pick up?.if too busy and not enough staff, don?t offer it. Will not bereturning. Waste of money. Read more

We ate a light meal at Fresh Chef last night - I haven?t had scallops in probably 25 years. I am pretty particular about my... seafood, trying to incorporate more of it into our diet. Their special last night - grilled seasoned scallops was perfect! Theflavor, the texture even the smell. They did a fantastic job, the scallops were so fresh - I will definitely be getting themagain.? In addition to that we had a lettuce wrapped cheeseburger, side of mushrooms and grilled cold shrimp entree over kalesalad.?? Everything was so good! We really enjoy their kale salad, it has red pepper flakes in it - very slight hint of heatbut it?s not overpowering by any means. We love lemon as well - the dressing is fantastic. We love medium rare or rare meat andthis hamburger was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked - you could tell it was fresh by smell and taste and definitely notoverworked, very tender. We enjoyed the mushrooms and onions as well, I want to say perhaps cooked in a burgundy or sherry? Itwas sweet and savory. We?ve really never had a bad meal here, but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be orderingthe scallops again. Such a sweet buttery creamy flavor and texture very light seasoning but enough to complement and support thescallop not overpower it. I forgot to mention that the scallops were over a very small bed of grits, which were extremelygood!? As far as service? Emily has waited on us before, she is so sweet and professional. The food came out very quickly - wewere there at dinner time on a Saturday. Plenty of space between tables and booths.? I?ve had their salmon before and I dorecommend it, but the scallops? I might be open to trying them somewhere else if anyone on this forum recommends a restaurant -but they are on my list now for Fresh Chef for sure! For example I?m sure whatever Rita produces would be phenomenal ????however this was close to home, a last minute stop for dinner and well worth it.? Read more
