First time coming here and we loved it! Kids had the dinner bento box. Great portion and they loved it. Kani salad was big. I... like basic rolls so I got the spicy tuna and it was the best I?ve had. Understaffed I was waiting for more than 1 hour for sushi and rolls, even though the half of the tables were empty The staff... is trying to do everything quickly, they literally flying from one corner to another. After always passing this place on rt 34, we finally decided to give Ginkaku a try and were delighted with our experience. I... started off with a Hiro Sunrise, which was sweet & refreshing. We then moved onto appetizers. The shrimp shumai was soft &melted in your mouth. Then we moved onto the spring rolls, which were delicious with the chili sauce & the chicken lettuce wrapswhich were packed with pieces of chicken, veggies & the pineapple gave it a tangy sweetness. Then we got the black angel roll(no avocado) and it was fantastic! We finished off our dinner with the vanilla ice cream tempura & another drink. Everything wasabsolutely delicious & we enjoyed our time! They had a nice ambience, the restaurant was clean, and the dishes & cutlery was socute! Found our new sushi place, for both dine in and take out. We've tried this place a few times for sushi take out and it has been... nothing less than amazing. Tonight we decided to try dine in for the first time, and oh. my. gosh. Everything was incrediblefrom start to finish. The restaurant looked clean and organized, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food wasoutstanding. The fish was super fresh, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the balance of flavors in the rolls took the dishes tothe next level. Loooooooove this place. Recent transplants to NJ and in search of a good Japanese spot. Holy moly! The rolls are ALL amazing.... Every time we go we try something new and it doesn't disappoint. Our favorite roll that we always end the night with is theParadise roll - who thought banana and seafood would make such a heavenly combination. Prices and atmosphere are wonderful. Read more
