The staff here are wonderful, but so overworked! Short staffing results in frequent drive-through only situations. The hiring... sign says $13/hour including tips. I suggest management raise that to a minimum of $15/hour PLUS tips. Including currentemployees! It?s a solid restaurant, but low pay is likely costing money in the long run. Going to Sonic is to have theexperience. A drive through is fine, but the process is time consuming. Even ordering ahead online, including a tip, results ina drive through line wait. To the crew at this Sonic: you?re wonderful. To the management/franchisee: pay better. It?s2022. EDIT: Okay, I'm editing this review, from 4 stars to 1. I wrote this a few months ago, and yet nothing has changed withthis store. Their hours are limited, their DRIVE IN has been closed for months. It's just a drive thru now. Sonic is a Drive Inrestaurant. The drive thru is an extra convenience. This store is located right in the middle of Jackson Township. Sure, it hascompetition from Swenson's, who has better burgers, but the selection at Sonic is much bigger. The management/franchisee ofthis store needs to be seriously looked at by Corporate. How is this restaurant, not functioning as it should, making the Sonicbrand look? I know a lot of it comes down to staffing. In my initial review, I noted that they are hiring at $13/hour includingtips. Now, those same signs have a piece of black tape over the "including tips" part. WHY. SO. LOW? Pay your crew better!You'll have better retention, more applicants... and MORE MONEY. The median rent in Stark is $800/month for a 2 bedroom. Anemployee making $13/hour for about 32 hours a week has a gross take home of $1664/month. Take out taxes, and that's closer to$1300. Take out rent, that's $500. $500 for the rest of the bills. Love Sonic but unfortunately am giving up on this location. Of the last 4 times we have visited we have successively eaten... there once. The first failure was when we discovered they were closed on Tuesdays (there was a steady stream of cars pulling inand leaving irritated, no signage except on window as noted by others). Second time we went (not on a Tuesday) we found out they close at 8:00 (arrived at 8:15, I guess TV commercials stating locations open till 11:00 or later don't matter). The thirdtime we actually managed to get there when they were open and successfully got food and it was very good. Despite hit or missluck with this location decided to go there tonight as the Big Dill Burger I just saw advertised on TV looked really good. Wearrived. They were open. Pulled up to drive thru. The Big Dill Burger was prominently shown on the digital sign right at the drive thru speaker. We placed our order and were matter of factly told "We no longer sell that burger". I for some reason hadbeen really looking forward to that particular burger all day. Nothing else was gonna cut it. We said to just forget it andleft. I guess the 4th time was it. I have had enough. There are other places to spend my money that are reliably open andactually carry the product they advertise. Doubt anyone there really cares, but you lost a long time customer. Read more

The power had went out after we placed our order. By the time we arrived we were sadly informed that we would not be able to get... our food. This location is WAY better than the location on Maple. We were so disappointed but David was so nice about thesituation and was taking additional steps to prevent other people having to drive 15min for no food due to the outrageous. Ileft a message with customer service that you all did a wonderful job despite the situation. Read more

Rudest teenager ever to have taking orders. Was told rudely they don?t have 3 items on the menu, one of which was a creamslush.... Lil miss tater tot got aggravated with me for ordering food they apparently didn?t have, yet did not mark out on menus. Alsothey had all ?drive-in? stalls blocked off by yellow chains and orange cones forcing all customers to deal with Miss-edCongeniality. Sonic in Jackson is now just another fast food joint full of minimum wage attitude. Food was about as good as herattitude too Read more

Went to this location on 06/21/22 and sat in the line of cars (10 or so) and come to find out they r closed on Tuesday. If they... are closed they need to have better signage and the parking lot blocked off so their customers are not wasting gas sitting indrive thru. Only sign saying closed is on intercom ????????. Love Sonic. Tots & Cherry Limeade are the best but their burger is super tasty as well. Tried the cheesesteak for first time.... Full flavored, but I did add mayo. Read more

Food was horrible not even edible too large popcorn chickens so tough couldn't even bite into them hamburger so greasy the... entire bag is saturated the potato tots taste like they set in grease for a week. And then when I called I was told sorry sirthere's nothing we can do about it horrible quality food I'm out of chunk of money cuz all this food is going in the trash Read more

Went in the evening for some burgers and shakes. Apparently the teens were too busy hanging out and having fun to bother making... any food correctly. My sonic burger had nothing on it besides a patty, slice of cheese, buns and a smear of mayo. Let's justsay that is the last time I will ever pickup food from this location. And always check your food before you leave especially ifthere are teenagers working. Read more
