I was at the tap room in massapequa, watching the islanders game on thanksgiving eve with some friends. And out of no where a... security guard asked me to come over to him to talk. I went over to him not knowing what he wanted and he accused me of tellingone of the servers that I was going to ?punch the soap dispenser? and that I did it. I have no idea why they accused meespecially since our server, Derek, was really nice and even spoke to his manager saying that it wasn?t me. On our way out, thesecurity guard who I spoke to was at the front door and I politely asked if they found the person who actually did it and heaccused me again. This is the worst experience I?ve ever had here or anywhere as a matter of fact. I hope the management looksat the security footage and finds who actually did it because I will never go back there or to any of their locations everagain. If they ever do look at it they?ll see I only ever spoke to my server who knows I didn?t say that and the security guardwho accused me. I?m so mad I?ll never go again. "You do know we work for tips?" As I'm sitting there at the bar, ordering another drink. I'm not from around here, but I'm sure... that's not usually seen as acceptable. Also I've never been to a bar where they served plastic shot glasses. That sounds likesomething reserved for 18 year olds who don't want to get caught having jello shots. Read more
Burger was awesome, perfectly cooked and super tasty. Wife's Strawberry Salad was incredible. Great portion sizes. They were... very busy. Staff was super friendly. Read more
As a local resident, I am very pleased to see the addition of the Tap Room to our downtown restaurant scene. Such a great experience at the Tap Room. We went on a crowded night, but were promptly seated and had excellent service. The... food was excellent. From the mussels to the pork sliders everything tasted great. One complaint I did have was that there werenot enough strawberries or pecans in the strawberry fields salad. But that was not enough to knock it down a star! I highlyrecommend the beer and food here. Read more
Great staff, good food. Live music when my family and I went. Seemed more like a college kid hang out be abuse of the micro... brewery selection of beers. The appetizer with a little of everything was so good and filling I could barely finish my meal.Burgers that were ordered by my daughter and wife were humungous and extremely tasty. One was the whiskey burger and the otherwas the mac and cheese burger. Look forward to going back and trying out more items in the menu. Read more
