I have celiac disease so when I saw the large variety of gluten free options I was excited to try since it?s very hard to find a... restaurant that takes the responsibility of accommodating and ensuring Allergies and special dietary requirements since mostplaces don?t want that responsibility on their hands. I ordered the gluten free penne alla vodka which I thought was deliciousbut shortly after eating I started to not feel right, I checked the leftovers I had and sure enough I found a piece of regularspaghetti in it. It?s very frustrating when places claim to be safe for people with special restrictions and it?s not. Not tomention I spent over 30$ to have to throw it away and now I?ll be very sick for a few days. DONT CLAIM TO BE GLUTEN FREE WHENITS NOT! That Includes cross contamination, it could be fatal to some people which is why most restaurants don?t take on thatliability. Read more
I thought the food was amazing, well seasoned well-prepared. As long as you're not expecting five star service this place is... really good. Not to say that the service was bad, it just was non existent. They never asked if we was okay, if we neededanything additional, never went above and beyond to make sure we would come back, but they didn't do anything wrong either. Soas I mentioned the food was excellent and I still would go back, I just know not to expect restaurant quality service, but youdo get restaurant quality food. This is one of the few restaurants that I actually went to Via Groupon so for the price Ipaid I did not mind the lack of service. The food was excellent, not sure if I would have went without the Groupon especiallybecause the overall experience didn't meet my expectation, but props to the chef.
