We?ve eaten here very often in the past and I?m sorry to say recently the food was overly salty and the hero rolls were... stale/hard. Not to mention delivery time went way over what was estimated when placing our order and our heroes were cold,supposed to be hot. I had high hopes for this place because of all the great reviews on Yelp. They must be paying people off to write these reviews,... because the pizza is nothing like what the reviews describe it has. First off the pizza was very greasy, way to thick,Flavorless. It was like I was Eating Greasy bread. The Onions on the Pizza were Cut Extremely Thick and were Tough to eat. The owner, Dominic, and his wife are amazing. We used to go into Brooklyn to L&Bs to get our weekly pizza. We now exclusively go... here. Their baked clams are fresh, and we call them in to order. We get their plain pizza, and I absolutely adore their potatotruffle slice and their vodka slice. They are very accommodating with my sesame allergy, and when I called to ask about it, theowner's wife put me on hold to track down the correct information (there are no sesame seeds on the premises, in any dish, inany breading or any bread). We will continue to support this establishment and the owners because of their amazing attitude aswell as their food, even though it's quite a ways from where we live. Read more

I have ordered takeout family meals previously, and the food was delicious. Recently I stopped in for a slice. As expected the... pizza was excellent. But more importantly, I realized that these were incredibly friendly people. I think the owner and hiswife were working but I'm not a frequent customer. Anyway, these people somehow made my day with their cheerful attitude. Iknow it sounds weird that ordering a slice of pizza could create that kind of feeling, but it truly did. I think it was theirenthusiasm towards their food and a genuine appreciation of their customers. I know this sounds exaggerated, but go buy oneslice and see if you agree. And I'm pretty sure any Long Island pizza aficionado will agree that their food is really good.Thank you Leonardo's, for the great pizza and good vibes.
