Been coming here for idk 12+ years. Every time I come I wait patiently for the best homemade, hot, fresh waffle cones with... Cookie monster ice cream and sprinkles. I have waited 1 min or 45 minutes, it doesn?t matter the satisfaction after receivingthe ice cream is immaculate every time. Not to mention, the owner has put a very entertaining and creative environment with theshops walls, shelves and everywhere you look with old coca-cola bottles throughout history. The owner is there everyday I havegone making the waffle cones hot and fresh. I read the reviews on the labor shortage and want to mention the owner is back thereevery single day putting his sweat in this business for people to enjoy ice cream. His comments on Fox weren?t out of line atall. He pays employees very well for an entry level high-school job like any small business owner does. I hate reading therecent negative reviews of people twisting his words and saying something he didn?t say correctly. We love it here and willnever stop coming to get the amazing ice cream!!! He is absolutely correct when he said his prime hours at 7pm or past. In thefood and ice cream industry that?s peak hours and for him to say he needs more help past those hours, isn?t a bad thing at all.But people make everything a big deal and want to complain. Do not spend your money here this man stood on national television and said he needs child labor laws removed in order to run... his ice cream shop. Disgusting. Edit: This is how he reacts when confronted with his own words by lashing out please go look upthe clip where he says your kids (under 16) should be able to work for him until 11pm on weekdays. The polar cave is by far the best location on the Cape to have a waffle cone ice cream. Waffle cones are made right there in... front of you, while your waiting. It?s no wonder there is a line out the door anytime day or evening during the summer. Besttime to go is before the after dinner crowds. Why not go before dinner, I have! Who needs dinner when you have the biggest andbest tasting waffle cone on the Cape. Staff is great and you?ll often find the owner making the waffle cones. Great guy! Read more
This is my first time going here today. The staff are friendly, the ice cream is amazing, but most importantly it looks like... they were providing joy to people much in need. After going through a divorce, losing my job, my wife, my apartment, my career,and now the pandemic I try to find a little joy in life. And this is one of those places I will be returning to frequently toprovide sunshine on a rainy day, thank you!!
