Went to Smoky Mountain Brewery for our Anniversary Friday night. We were seated and our server was there immediately. He... explained the beers and drinks. I got Helles Lager which was crisp and hoppy. My girl had a cucumber mojito that was absolutelyfantastic. Such a great flavor profile. Getting that next time for sure. We ordered our food while we had our drinks. I gotThunder Road shrimp and fries. It was outstanding. Lightly breaded shrimp in a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. The fries had aspice mixture on them that was really good as well. My girl got steak and chicken with mac & cheese. She got a incredibly tendermedium rare steak. It was so well cooked and flavorful. The chicken was very fresh and lightly breaded. Prepared perfectly witha really good honey mustard. The mac & cheese was gooey and cheesy. We shared everything and were completely full. I really wentback and fourth about where to go for our anniversary. Wanted a good meal and this place was exactly what we were looking for.May make this a tradition for our anniversary and I highly recommend this place for great drinks and food. This is a great place to eat and hangout. Kid friendly as well. I'll go ahead and say that corner 16 locations are my personal... favorites in this area. But this is my wife's absolute favorite! I like this place. Good bar food, beer selection, and inviting atmosphere. The wait staff is attentive and very knowledgeable... about the beer selection. Plenty of seating in the bar and restaurant plus outdoor seating. They sell their beer in n growlersas well as 1/2 and full kegs. Picky's Recommendation: staying near the airport?
