Got drive-through. The price was reasonable, and the food was okay. Chicken could have been a little moister. The complaint I... have is that I spent 45 minutes sitting in the drive-through, 10 of it at the window, waiting for food and drinks. When wefinally got our food, I asked for a drink carrier, since I had several drinks. What this man does is hand me all 4 drinks like Igot 4 damn hands, and then hands me the drink carrier. When Popeyes is cooked right and fresh, it's great. But lately not so much. Also, I ALWAYS order mild 3 piece tender and they... usually give me spicy when it's togo. This happened almost every other visit. Which I hate. Read more
I went through the drive through and ordered a 3 piece combo, all spicy breaststroke, with Cajun rice and a Coke because they... were out of Tea. Paid for my order and when I got home, I realized that all I had was 2 pieces of chicken not the 3 that I hadordered. I called the store and the girl who answered the phone said she was the cook and heard me say that I wanted 3 piecesbut that the guy who wrung me up only charged me for 2 pieces. Of course you would have thought that they would tell me thatwhen they handed me my food especially since I said 3 pieces a couple of times. I could not check my receipt because I didn'tget one. I really like the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwiches a lot. We go through the drive thru after work and get them. They are the... best chicken sandwich out there. Love me some red beans & rice or mashed potatoes & cajun gravy as a side. It might not be ahigh end restaurant but that sandwich is good. Very disappointed! First chicken was lukewarm at best! Second part of my order was 4 piece all dark meal and what I received is... 2 dehydrated wings, one very over cooked dry breast and a partial thigh so someone didn?t read the order because it is clearlyon my receipt! Coleslaw was chunky not good and potatoes cold as well and $30 later one very unhappy brand new customer!! Brokebreast and wings open so you could see how OVER COOKED the wrong chicken really was. Update, stopped in to try the new "Blackened Chicken Sandwich". This new menu item is on par with the already famous chicken... sandwich they offer. If you are a fan of Popeyes like I am swing by Popeyes and try the new "Blackened ChickenSandwich. Popeyes in Maryville is always very clean with a very friendly staff and consistent food quality. On my last in storevisit they had it decorated for Halloween a very nice touch. I want to send a shout out to the staff for always doing anoutstanding job. Keep up the good work Read more
