The only thing you really need to bring is you and your ride! The rooms are equipped with everything you would need. All of your... kitchen, bathroom, and living space is covered. The hotel even provides, free of charge, snack tray with a wide variety ofitems. Free of charge. The price is on the low end, and the comfort is on the high end! The restaurant next door providesB-L-D, but are closed on W. This hotel is on the corner of 72 &129, at the beginning of the Tail of THE Dragon! Great place tostay after a day of riding the beautiful roads that TN and NC have to offer. Our 2nd time staying here, and will be happy to getthere again! Read more

We will definitely be back! Everything about the hotel, restaurant, shops were awesome. Such kind people and the hotel is so... nicely remodeled! We could've lived out of the hotel for weeks and been just fine. They have thought of everything. It is alsoconveniently located. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going here. Read more
I love the rooms, they are decorated so cool! Clean and neat. Pet friendly. Great food next door, fun games to play, nice... friendly people there. I do think one more mirror in the room might be good. They had freebie snacks on arrival. So much Iiked! Read more
Did not stay at the hotel but stopped into the Pit Stop for lunch 5/20/22. Myself and a few friends took a break from our ride... and came in, and we were glad we did! We were quickly greeted by a few friendly and welcoming staff members, and quickly orderedand got our lunches which we all enjoyed and were fairly priced. Good assortment of food, refreshments, and they have some tastyagave fountain sodas which was awesome. I couldn't believe how clean the bathrooms were in the restaurant either, you couldalmost stay in one as your room for the weekend. Read more
My friend and I trailered our motorcycles down from Massachusetts to ride the tail of the dragon. We wanted a convenient place... to stay that was close to rt. 129.......Dragon City could not have been more perfect for us....they have ample trailer parkingand concrete spots for your motorcycle which are right outside the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and have obviouslybeen renovated recently. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the shower was plenty warm. The beds were very comfortable aswell. We met the couple that ran the hotel (very very nice people I unfortunately forget their names) who were very friendlyand accommodating throughout our stay. We will absolutely be staying here again on what is going to become an annual trip toride the dragon! Read more
Clean, updated rooms with new pillows and comfy mattresses make this place a steal!
