I visit Martinsburg several times throughout the year and always see this place has lots of business. Stopped on a Sunday... morning and I had the Breakfast Special # 6 Two Eggs and Scrapple. Eggs cooked to order with a side of Scrapple, Home Fries(homestyle hash browns) and choice of buttered Toast. The Pennsylvania Dutch style Scrapple was a bit under spiced/flavored forme but still good. I also had a side of grits. Now know why this place is a locals favorite. Overall this place is pretty decent. Not a bad place to go for a bite to eat. The country fried steak was good, though they used... the same gravy as the biscuits and gravy and it overpwered everything else. The prime rib isn't bad. The steak has good flavorbut definitely could have used some sort seasoning. The mashed potatoes are instant. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.I'd guve the place a C+ or B-. We were in town for a quick overnight and our entire group had breakfast here. Service was great and food was awesome. Everyone... had something different and we all loved our food. None of us got any of the baked goods in the front counter but they lookedincredible! We will surely be back next time we are in town. Read more
Oh my we've been raving about this place since we were on our way home from a trip and wanted good food but weren't into all the... "chains" oh my goodness I'm so glad we stopped we may drive the hour and half again just to come back.. the food and dessertwas to die for. Real, home made, gigantic portions, dessert is a homemade and THAT good. I can see why the servers say some daysthey have lines around the building to get to go orders even! Our server was great with perfect southern charm and was and eventhe cook was accommodating when we asked to change n add on items.... Wonderful!!! Read more
This is one huge diner. I was informed that on the weekends the entire thing can pack with a wait out the door. I enjoyed... listening to the 90s country music while everyone was pleased with their food purchases. The staff was friendly. Atmosphere wasthat of one huge'ol diner. Nothing too fancy, but clean and inviting. The menu was exceptionally large which is always fun toperuse. Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely come back if I were in the neighborhood. Read more

Half of my order was cold; all of it was bland and overpriced. Had to ask for the roll that came with my entrée (according to... the menu) and the waitstaff thought I was asking for free bread, mentioning that they "don't bring it out unless asked becausepeople didn't always eat it." I just wanted the roll that was supposed to come with my food. ??????????? Regardless, the breadended up being the best part of the meal for me. Don't get dessert if you have peanut/tree nut allergies because everything ismixed in the dessert case together with no thought of cross-contamination. Read more
