Delicious food, a great atmosphere inside and outside, friendly fast service, and incredibly reasonable prices. Firebox 55... doesn't disappoint. The food is what you would expect from a barbecue place but with a little extra TLC that puts it over thetop. The picture is of what took home after eating my fill, so portions are very generous. We will definitely be back. Read more

I would like to suggest that a label is put on the sauces. Stopped in for lunch and I was happy I did. The brisket and pulled... pork had a nice flavor and juicy. Mac and cheese, collard greens , beans and the sweet potatoes fries or to die for. Thesauces are really good it would be nice to know which one is which though. Read more

Best food in Martinsburg! The sweet potato fries are seriously the best Ive ever had! Even if you don't like sweet potato... fries, you will love these! And the pastrami rueben is delicious! Anything you get here you can't go wrong! And super friendlystaff! I see they are working on an outdoor space, can't wait to check it out when it's done! With as delicious as this food is,they need to get a larger seating capacity once people start finding out. Read more

I don't write reviews...ever...but after my experience this seemed necessary. I?ll do everything in my power to document a... negative experience without violating Google?s review policies. This was my first time ordering from this place. I spent $44.52on February 18 on my order, check #104. I ordered a family platter for 5 adults for takeout. That included 1.5 pounds of pulledpork and 3 sides. That comes out to about 8 bucks per person, which seems reasonable. A sandwich costs 9 dollars and has about 6ounces of pulled pork, which amounts to 2.5 pounds. It's kind of steep for a pound and a half, but doable if the taste is goodenough, since I was supposed to get the sides as well. Pulled pork was just that. No bread for sandwiches (which would havebeen nice, as other barbecue places I?ve ordered from provide bread for large quantities of meat), but it tasted OK and was notthe end of the world. They asked if I wanted barbecue sauce. I asked for sweet spicy and Texas style. I purchased food for 5people and was given two takeaway containers 1/3 full of sauce. That's the equivalent of about 4 Ketchup packets. That's notenough sauce for 5 people. Next...the sides. The Mac and Cheese is out of this world delicious. I would likely have given thisplace a 4 star review if I?d been able to order 3 sides of Man and Cheese. But I couldn?t. I tried to call in my order butnobody answered the phone, and the online order form did not let me order multiples of the Mac and Cheese. So I improvised. Igot bean soup, which was OK but didn?t travel very well (I guess it?s better hot), and potato salad, which had too muchmayonnaise. I wish they had a more diverse selection if they didn?t allow multiples of the same side. Finally...the experience.I ordered curbside, so I needed to call. The line was busy. Called again in 5 minutes. The line was busy. I headed inside. Ittook nearly five minutes to flag down somebody to ask about my to go order. I understand this is a popular Read more

Very busy night (of course it's the first time we're trying it out ????????), but all the people working were hustling like no... tomorrow! We sat at the bar for expediency. Tried a few brews between the two of us (they're more than happy to give about anounce tasting for you to try any beer you might be hesitant on) and also took advantage of the Happy Hour plates. Steamed bunswere AHMAZING (full disclosure, I absolutely love steamed buns). Also had the Chip-chos which were a very unique version ofnachos. I chose the Cuban Grain Bowl and my boo had the Pork platter with added brisket and ribs (Saturday is rib day,ya'll!)...mac n cheese and sweet potato fries on the side. Pickles were on point. Let me tell you though, I'd visit thisrestaurant for the sweet potato fries alone! ???? They were like French toast sticks but as sweet potatoes! Sooooo delicious.Really glad to see servers who keep their cool and work hard for customer satisfaction too. They were all rocking it! We'lldefinitely visit again ???? Read more

We are big BBQ fans and Firebox 55 is the real deal. I got pulled pork and it was deliciously tender and smoky, and really... enjoyed trying it with all 5 of their sauces. My husband gave me a couple bites of his Grimley sandwich and it was so good! We?ll definitely be back! Read more

My wife and I checked this spot out and we are thrilled. I was blown away by everything. We had the happy hour appetizers... (pastrami egg rolls were AMAZING) and each got a platter with different meats. The meats were delicious and the sides were thebest I?ve ever had. The coleslaw is perfect! And the collard greens were tender and smoky. The owner was even running food andintroduced himself, I can?t wait to eat here again or get takeout, they had a whole takeout/catering menu on the back of theirmenu. Read more
