One star for the actual food. It was actually hot this time and not old, dried, hard. I end up going to this location about... twice a year. Today I?m reminded why. I absolutely hate this location. I will never go again. The young man taking my orderlacked basic customer service skills. I guess Popeyes doesn?t really care about proper training to that aspect. I?m nevergreeted in any way when I go there. The young boy was hardly speaking audibly. He took my order only for me to get to thewindow, pay, then tell me there was no more mild strips at 6 pm. He offered no apology or alternative. Some other employeeoffered mild chicken legs instead. Fine. He hands me two drinks. One is filled so much that it?s spilling out the lid thenspilling in my car. I put two napkins (that I already had in my car) on the lids and they were soaked. They huddle at the foodline whispering. I don?t like that because what are you doing with my food at this point? He hands me the bag and goes to closethe window. I interrupt to ask for some napkins and sauce that I wasn?t even offered. You would have thought I?d asked him to goto his own home and grab me some sauce. He just seemed confused. I clearly said thank you. He clearly did not. I left only torealize I didn?t get a drink with the kids meal. I had to circle back through that already impossible traffic on Belair rd. Igot back in drive through and asked for the drink. Popeyes is Popeyes. Always delicious at this location. The only bad is I believe the employees don't realize how costly it is to... just grab handfuls of condiments and throw them in the bag. Every now and then, something pops open. Nothing more worse thanhaving everything saturated with honey or hot sauce. I'm sure the mangers tell them to not over do it. But who needs 7 packs of????hot sauce, a 3 packs of honey with a 2 piece and a biscuit. But service and flavor is always on key. My photos show 2separate times I've ordered and enough condiments were tossed for 5 or 6 more 2 piece and a biscuit meal. EDIT 09/2022...Thisrestaurant has really gone down. The chicken still taste good but the inside is dirty and stinky. They were out of drinks theday I went. YES out of drinks. It smelled like backed up sewerage with dirty diapers on top of the smell of the floor beingmopped with a dirty mop. UGH? I can not believe how dirty it was. I won't be going back. Ordered in the drive thru after waiting 10 minutes. The drive thru was not busy and neither was the inside of the restaurant.... So, it didn't make sense. I was told to park my car. I did. After waiting for 30 minutes I went inside. They had a packed houseof people waiting on their orders. I had to repeat my order three times and it took an hour to leave. I still got the wrongorder and over paid. This is not my food. They didn't have the side dishes either. No dirty rice, no red beans and rice, no cornon the cob, no chicken wings available, no shrimp at all in the restaurant. As in they need a shipment. I'm just disappointedand won't come back. Not because I'm entitled, but because I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and every time, it has beenpretty bad and with long wait times, or very young people who don't understand customer service. 2022-08-26 : I haven't physically visited Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, but I've enjoyed two meals from here thanks to a friend... bringing some fried chicken, french fries, and biscuits. The best food I've ever gotten from Popeyes. The biscuit was hot, fresh out the oven, just right, nice, buttery and and moist.... The chicken was fresh out the fryer, not oily, crispy, hot, juicy, and delicious. The Cajun rice...I don't know if the recipewas different because it's been gone for a while, or what, yummy ???? The lobby floor was slippery. The bathroom floor was sticky. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich to go. The chicken filet was... nearly folded in half, a "U" shape, and no pickles. By the register there was a note to all employees. It read, clock in on timeor you will be "wrote" up. I'm not saying management can't manage effectively, even though the appearance of the store says theycan't. I'm saying if they can't get proper tense of a word correct, are they really able to manage effectively? Read more

Popeyes at the Grovetown location!!! I get it, this location just open so I expected a wait time. Its really ridiculous to wait... 1 hr and 35 mins for spicy chicken sandwich/ popcorn shrimp combo / 2 piece spicy !!! Then I had to park because they forgotmy lemonade!! I only went to try out the Mac n cheese...wow! Popeyes hit it dead on the nail with this one. It tastes just like as if I cooked... it from home. It had just the right amount of salt, pepper and I think they used that government cheese!!! That's the goodcheese man. It was just everything. I couldn't stop eating it and I had the large.
