We ate breakfast here on a beautiful Saturday morning. Turns out one of the managers went to middle school with one of our sons.... The service is quick and professional, and the food is fantastic! 4.5 stars but rounding up... Parking lit behind restaurant is free on weekends. We know that now, but we didn't know (the... parking meter said parking was free but immediately under it it said paylent required -- we wondered if we were on a hiddencamera or something ha ???? (see attached pic) until after someone saw us struggling to determine and told us. It was slightlyconfusing going in the back entrance...an employee thankfully told us. Yes, you go past the stairs on the right, down the alley,and enter the 2nd door. Yes, that is an entrance to the restaurant. ???? If going with a group, they do require the entiregroup be present and all must be seated together. Food was quick to come out, flavors were food, portions were mostlyreasonable for the price, customer service was quick and very friendly. $55 before tip for fam of 4 is pretty reasonablenowadays. I have very high standards when it comes to my breakfast spots, and this place meets all of them. I got the cure off the... specials menu; 2 perfect fluffy biscuits with country fried steak, gravy, hash browns, 2 eggs and a bacon crumble piled on top.Highly recommended, thank you Copper Skillet for a delicious breakfast! Excellent Staff, great service, delicious food. I've been going to breakfast or brunch every single Sunday after my family and I... go to tge Farmers Market on Main St. I've Happily had quite a few of the familiar waitresses still work here and still remembermy families names and regular orders with genuine smiles and the food is priced nicely, orders are served to perfection ratherquickly and the atmosphere and familiar martinez small down town diner feel makes this restaurant a family favorite and adefinite recommendation to any and everyone. Today?s visit would have been a two star, but two stars are added for past experiences that were actually good. Today I veered... off course & tried something off the pancake & French toast menu. . .I ordered Huevos Rancheros & what I was served was a plateof thick yellow cheese & chips. I wasn?t expecting so much yellow cheese on a dish that by custom is not served with yellowcheese. I sent the plate back & expected to be asked to replace the dish with a different order but no server came back to ourtable. We never got our coffee refilled either. Normally I treat my parents out to brunch here when I visit them & it?s a greatexperience. I felt bad that my mom?s quality of service was affected by me sending the dish back. They did remove the dish fromour bill which wasn?t something I was expecting, normally I pay for the dish & the new order when I?ve had this happen at otherrestaurants since I?m the one that ordered the food I don?t have a problem doing so. I was very disappointed with the servicetoday, not just the quality of the dish I ordered, but I would still give this place the opportunity to serve you good food justdon?t order the Huevos Rancheros & send the food back because they will quickly give you your bill & get you to just leaveinstead of trying to serve you something better ????
