Great food, great atmosphere! Patty melt was great! Liked it better than the hickory cheese burger. Hand cut fries are delicious... and so are the onion rings! The kids and I pulled in here on a whim after a long drive home from Houston. All 5 of us had a burger and the four of them... (ages 11-17) shared a large basket of fries which was plenty. My burger was split and set in lettuce leaves with tomatoes,pickles, jalapenos and mustard. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. The kids loved their burgers and loved the fries even more!We'll be back! The restaurant was good yes the burgers were old fashioned burgers but! the meat has to be a bigger size as you can see in my... picture the meat is an inch from the edge almost all the way around. All I had hoped for and more. You have to be somewhat patient but it?s always worth the wait. This isn?t designed as a fast food... spot. It?s for taking your time and soaking up a little TX history and in a unique atmosphere. Food is good no matter what youorder. Bacon is lesser quality but not horrible. Read more
